Question 1: Write the differences between vacuum tube & transistor.
Vacuum Tube , represents the Vacuum inside the glass bottle, in order to facilitate the flow of
free electrons, can also effectively.
Transistors (transistor) is a solid-state semiconductor devices (including diodes, transistors, field
effect tube, thyristor, etc., sometimes especially bipolar devices), with a rectification,
rectification, amplification, switch, voltage regulator, signal modulation and other functions. As
a variable current switch, the transistor can control the output current based on the input voltage.
Different from ordinary mechanical switches (such as Relay and switch), transistors use
electrical signals to control their opening and closing, so the switching speed can be very fast,
and the switching speed in the laboratory can reach more than 100GHz.
Question 2: What are the different types of memory devices? Write the differences between
RAM & ROM.
1, the use of electricity to store information equipment such as: all kinds of memory, such as
RAM, ROM, etc
Storage devices (6)
2. Devices that use magnetic energy to store information, such as: hard disk, floppy disk
(obsolete), magnetic tape, core memory, magnetic bubble memory (magnetic bubble memory
appeared in the 1970s, but failed to achieve commercial success in the 1980s, when the price of
hard disk dropped sharply.) U disk,
Devices that store information optically, such as CDS or DVDS
4. Equipment that USES magneto-optical mode to store information, such as: MO (magneto-
optical disc)
5, use other physical materials such as paper CARDS, paper tape and other storage information
equipment such as: punch CARDS, punch tape, knot, etc
6. Special storage system: it is a special information system for data backup or disaster recovery.
It is a device that USES high-speed network to store information in large amount of data.
ROM is short for read only memory. Read-only memory (ROM) is a type of memory that holds
data in place while it is working properly. The data can only be read, not written, and can be
retained even when power is cut off. Certain conditions must be met to store or change data in
read-only memory.
Random Access Memory , also known as main Memory, is internal storage that exchanges data
directly with the CPU. It can be read and written at any time (except when refreshed), is fast, and
is often used as a temporary data storage medium for the operating system or other running
programs. RAM can write (store) or read (fetch) information from any given address at any time
as it works.
Question 3: Explain transducer, signal conditioner & op-amp.
Variable frequency Drive (VFD) is a power control device that controls ac motor by changing
the frequency mode of the working power supply of the motor by using frequency conversion
technology and microelectronics technology.
Signal regulator: a signal regulator used between a signal source and a readout device, such as an
attenuator, a preamplifier, a charge amplifier, and a level converter for nonlinear compensation
of a sensor or amplifier.
Used to perform mathematical operations, an operational amplifier is a functionally named
circuit unit that can be implemented by discrete devices or in semiconductor chips.
Question 4: Explain second order low pass filter with block diagram.

Question 5: Draw the block diagram of flash ADC & sigma delta converter.
