Feasibility study of Green transportation in India:

Policies, Resources reserves, Technological

advancement, Challenges and Solutions

Literature Review
All the previous papers which are related to my topic of research and those have a scope limited
to India, have mentioned the following topic in details: -

1. Population Growth
2. Pollution Rate
3. Imports of Oil
4. Road map analysis using ANSWER MARKAL
5. Electrical Vehicle Technologies
6. 20 Scenario
7. Policies of Government
8. Sustainable Urban City
9. Battery
10. Energy issues
11. Infrastructural needs

All the above mentioned topics are highly critical when it comes to analyzing “Feasibility of
Green Transport”. After studying and understanding each related paper, I found a GAP which is
not touched upon in details.

To make India self-sustained when it comes to full implementation of green transportation, India
need to manage, handle and gather resources which are crucial for the process. If the resources
part is handled properly, the overall impact of it will be seen when it comes to manufacturing,
price, maintenance and recycle. Recent technological advancements in the field of batteries have
caused a revolutionary impact on implementation of Electric vehicles (EV) in the world.

The only part that makes the whole implementation weak is the resource part, causing hampers
in matters of high price imports, unit produced and recyclability of EVs. I in my paper will be
focusing mainly of resource management and current government policies to analyze the
feasibility of green transport along with the intention to answer the question of “Whether India
will be a self-sustained in matters of full implementation of Green Transportation?”
