1. When did you last buy a watch? What process did you go through?

 
The last watch I bought was 9 months ago.
Steps went through:
i. Was thinking of buying a watch for myself for long time 2.
ii. Decided to buy it when I received my bonus
iii. Searched watches online for collecting information, mainly on price
iv. Went to World of Titan Show room
v. Tried few watches and selected the one which had best feature and looks

2. What is the challenge facing Xylys? 


 Titan’s upper end of target customers (of mid-price segment) were moving
towards global premium brands
 Challenge of creating a unique perception of Xylys (an Indian brand) since the
premium watches in India are associated with Swiss Brands like Omega,
Rolex, Tag Heuer which are more contemporary in nature
 Challenges from Tissot – which covers both affordable luxury and premium
luxury segment with ease.

3. Who is a luxury watch buyer? How does he go about buying a luxury watch?
Main customer of luxury watch is a new generation executive in prime of his
career having keens sense of brand consciousness. It includes young and middle-
aged professionals having penchant for luxury watch brands. It includes CEOs and
senior professionals in 30s-40s, new generation of entrepreneurs and young
working professionals.
