1. Subject
This document has the purpose to illustrate the operation of the program “Bomdels”.

2. CD Contents
The program is provided on a Cd with the required drawings and does not require any installation.
A Cd with Bomdels inside consists of 22 items including files and directories (see below).

The number of objects is greater than 22 if the additional documents were requested (eg. BOM,
extractions .xls. etc.)

3. Starting the program

Insert the cd into the drive and double click on the executable .
When the program starts, the following screens appear:

Select Yes.

4. Navigation within the structure

The below structure is the standard that appears at the opening of the program and allows you to navigate
within the various job positions saved on cd:

On the left side are listed all the job positions, while the right portion shows information at the level of
distinct positions.
Selecting a job position on the left opens its cascade structure:

5. Visualization

5.1. Drawings
To view the drawings choose one of the following methods:
 Open the job position and double-click the picture you want display;
 Open the job position, select the required code and select “View Drawing” in the menu bar at the
top left:

 Open the job position, select the required drawing, click on the right mouse button and select View
drawing from the menu that appears (A);
 Open the job position, select the required drawing and select the icon among the tools on the
right window (B);

5.2. Documents
To visualize the attached documents proceed in the following mode:
 “Bill of Material” – “Job Document List” – “Quality Control Plant” select with the mouse the
required position, click the right mouse button and choose “Bill of Material / Jet Document” in the
menu that appears;

This will display all the documents in the folder BOM.

If the folder does not contain the document “BOM:… .pdf” no other document that may be present
in the folder will be displayed and you will have to open it directly;
 “Final Test Report” has to be opened directly from the folder and can not be viewed with the
command shown above.

6.1. Marker
To highlight one or more items at the same time proceed as follows:
 Select on right the code or the codes to highlight (1)
 Select the marker (2)

6.2. Clean single marker

This command delete a single marker:
 Select the highlighted code
 Select “Clean marker”.

6.3. Clean all markers

It’s possible to clean all the markers with a single command:
 Select “Clean all markers”.

6.4. Save list

This option allows you to extract data from Job position in various formats (.xls - .txt - .htm):
 Select “Save list” and in the following screen choose the path to save the extraction and the file
type to generate:

 Select “Save” to access another screen where it’s possible to select the fields to extract.
By default all the fields are selected.

When the operation is completed the following message appears:
