BACKGROUND OF THE FIRM

Technological Services Ltd. (TSL) is an Engineering Consultancy

Firm with experience in Field Survey, Mapping, Collection &
Compilation of Data & Information including Inventory of Lines & Sub-
station, Load Forecasting, Load Assessment, Power System Planning,
Transmission and Distribution System Engineering Design & System
Studies. Since its beginning in 1973 TSL has provided technical
services to its clients which include BREB, PBSs, PDB, DPDC &
DESCO etc.

The Company has experienced stable growth and now has in its
payroll over 390 members. TSL has thirteen additional offices outside
the Capital. TSL recognizes the importance of being close to its
clients to develop & render timely solutions to the client’s problems.

TSL started with few dedicated engineers who performed

engineering studies and design for various electrification projects. It
was welknown during mid to end Seventies as the only local
consultant to provide support services for electrification & air-
conditioning works for almost all the Architectural Consultants of
the Country. During end Seventies TSL stepped into full fledged
Distribution System Engineering Services Projects of country. TSL is
now in its 46th year of services to the Power Industry of
Bangladesh which includes Municipal Electric Supply Units as well
as the Rural Electric Societies (PBSs).

TSL is a complete solution provider of Software Development, Database

Configuration, Database Maintenance, Database Backup & Recovery,
end to end Communication & IT Consultancy Services, Processing &
Analysis of Problems related with IT Business.

No firm can match TSL’s more than three decades track record of
supporting the Distribution Engineering Programme to extend the
electrical services all over Bangladesh. We are proud of the services
our firm has provided to the country over the years. This involvement
has resulted in a solid understanding of the Electrification Programme
through the direct contact with the management and staff of the
clients & also the consumers.

TSL has helped to organize Training to the personnel of

Consultants and Contractors to work for the different Electric
Supply Units.
