invites players from all states of India to participate in the 3rd All India Below 1500 FIDE Rating Chess

Tournament 2018, Hyderabad from 8th to 10th December 2018.

3. Cash Prizes (Open):

A total of 51 cash prizes amounting to INR 3,00,000/- (Rs. Three Lakhs Only) shall be awarded as under:

* Top 2 Veteran (S55), Top 2 Women (S20) & Top 2 PHC prizes. First prize Rs. 3,000/- and Second prize 2,500/-.

* Top 3 players from age category Under-7, Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15 (Girls & Boys separately)

will be awarded trophies.

4. Tournament Rules:
* System of Play: The championship shall be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess for a total of 9-rounds on
a Swiss-League basis. Latest FIDE rules will be applicable.

* Time-Control: Each player shall have 30 minutes with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from
move one. Walk-over will be 15 minutes from start of the round (however clock will be running).
* AICF & TSCA Registration: AICF registration for 2018-2019 is compulsory for all Indian participants & TSCA
registration for 2018-19 is compulsory for all Telangana State players.

* Protests: If any is to be given in writing within 15 minutes of the occurrence, with a fee of Rs. 1,000/- which
will be refunded if the protest is upheld by the appeals committee. 

5. Eligibility: All unrated Players are eligible. Players with Rating of 1499 & Below are eligible.
Note: AICF rule- 3 years peak rating rule applicable. If a player's FIDE Rating touched 1500 since published list

of December 2015, then the player is not eligible to take part in this event. No age limit.

6. Entry Fees:
Entry fees for all the players: Rs. 1,500/-

Last day for registration: 5th December 2018.
