Let us Draw the things Around Us

Art is an expression of human feelings or ideas. Artists think out a

design. Art is all around us. Many people create them.

Drawing- is making a picture of anything like a picture of pupils on a

piece of paper.

a. Portrait- It is an artistic representation of a face of a person.

b. Landscape- it is an artistic representation of a place like a
garden or a farm.

Lines- are like moving dots. Lines have many uses in creating
artworks.

1. There are lines that move up and down. These lines are
called vertical lines.

2. There are lines that move from left to right. These are
Horizontal Lines.
3. There are lines that slant. These are called slanting lines.

Color in art can suggest feelings. The three basic colors in arts are
Red, Yellow, and Blue. These are called Primary Colors.

Texture is something you feel as smooth or rough. In art, it can be

created through the use of colors and lines.

Painting can be a picture of a person, place or a thing. It is made

with coloring materials like paint.

Printmaking- is a process of copying an image that artist create.

Nature Print- It is when the design of the print is taken or copied
from nature.

Stencil Print- It is when the design is produced with ink, paint

and cardboard.
