LIGHT

Mr Mandeya
HOW DO LIGHT RAYS MOVE
• Light Rays Travel In Straight Lines.
• Drawings Of Light Rays Help You To Explain How You See Things.
• Light Seems To Be Everywhere. Light Travels So Fast That You Cannot
See It Moving.
• It Always Travels At The Some Speed In Straight Lines. Sometimes The
Light Rays Do Straight Into Your Eyes. At Other Times They Hit An
Object, Bounce Off And Then Enter Your Eyes.
• They Can Also Reflect Off Shiny Surfaces Or Water Before You See
Them.
• Scientists Draw Light Rays To Show Light Travelling. They Only Draw
One Or Two Rays To Make Their Diagrams Clear. They Draw One
Arrow In The Centre Of A Straight Line To Show The Direction Of
Travel.
How Do Light Beams Help You Explain What You See?
Light Rays From The Candle Are Reflected By The Mirror Before
They Enter Your Eyes.
