You need to be over 14 years old and need a Naver mail account for registration. After registration, you can
use cybermoney called gae-nyeom (개념; literally 'concept', but in Korean slang, it means 'common sense')
to buy user icons (which is a pixel image appearing left of the nickname) or to donate to certain post's
creator. Buying/Create-for-using 1 user icon costs 2 gae-nyeom, which is ₩200.
Forums
The most active forum is fun posts (웃긴자료), which scraps posts that reached a certain threshold of 'likes
and dislikes', from the waiting posts (대기자료). knowledge KIN (지식KIN) (KIN is Korean internet slang
used for raging someone - and a parody of Korea's most used QnA website Naver Knowledge IN) was once
a trending forum but nowadays it has less than one post per day. The forum has its own cartoon page (웃대
툰), which has been a place for lots of Korea's best internet cartoonists, making the internet flow called '병
맛' (idiotic taste) that defined the internet of the early 2010s.
