The Art of Design: Fairmate Microcrete Cement
The changes occurred over the last years in the design of surface coverings in the building industry, created the
need for decorative surface layers which allows us to create uniform surfaces with the minimum possible number of
joints. In addition to that, the increase of the renovation market required the development of building materials
systems which can be applied directly not only over existing traditional coverings such as ceramic tiles or mosaic
floors, but also on wood and even on metal, dry board or glass. FAIRMATE MICROCRETE SYSTEM is a well-
organized system of decorative building materials, in terms of application procedures but with unlimited
possibilities in colour combinations and patterns. The FAIRMATE MICROCRETE SYSTEMS allows us to create
"unique" surfaces in terms of the architecture that we have chosen to attribute to our area, whether it is a living room,
a bathroom, office or kitchen, industrial floor, furniture, external facade. Moreover, the ease of application and the
ability to apply upon existing coverings, such as ceramic tiles without removing them, allow us to quickly and easily
change the look and shape of our space with low cost and in a short period of time.

MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS
4Small application height
The application of FAIRMATE MICROCRETE
CEMENT layer thickness of 3-4 mm on floors
and 2-3mm on walls provides a big advantage
especially on renovation projects.
4High tensile and compressive strength.
The tensile and compressive strength of the
coverings is always a very important feature. The high
compressive and tensile strength of FAIRMATE
MICROCRETE CEMENT decorative layers allow us
to apply them on external area floors even in cases of
underfloor heating systems, staircases and industrial
floors.
4Vast variety of colours and patterns
From very smooth finish on furniture or internal floors
to a rough antislip finish in cottages or external floors,
the different types of FAIRMATE MICROCRETE
CEMENT decorative layers allow us to create
patterns and shades depending on the requirements
of each application. The standardized colour chart
based on RAL colours which allow us to make
combination with window frames and in general
industrial materials makes easier the final choice of 4Application on existing coverings such as:

mixture of a base colour and white, provides unlimited primer we can also apply it even on very "demanding"
possibilities for creating special colours on site from substrates such as glass, heating panels, paint and

4Variaty of varnish coat finishes
According to the desired surface finish, whether it is
satin, matt or even extremely glossy, in every case
there is the appropriate varnish-waterproofer to
choose from. In addition to that, all varnishes for
internal area applications are solvent free making
possible to apply them in closed areas with human
presence within 24-48 hours after the application of
the FAIRMATE MICROCRETE CEMENT decorative
layer.

FAIRMATE MICROCRETE
DESIGN
CEMENT Modern Home Design doesn't follow specific rules especially in the final surface finish.
The general request for uniform surfaces with the minimum of joints and there for easier
maintenance was always a big issue. In addition to that the request of custom design
with unlimited possibilities in colour combinations and patterns, allows us to create
"unique" surfaces according to the aesthetic requirements of the user of the area.

HOTEL
FAIRMATE MICROCRETE
DESIGN
Without doubt, hotels are of the most demanding applications from both the CEMENT
manufacturing and the design aspect. The pressing time schedules, especially in
renovations, require materials with high strength and easy application. Furthermore
hotels need to attract customers by providing a pleasant and attractive environment.
TYPE OF APPLICATION
FAIRMATE MICROCRETE CEMENT on external floors and walls,
staircases and external whirpools

SHOPPING CENTERS
Showrooms and shoping centers, whether they are retail shops or art galleries, are CEMENT
characterized by the need for the exhibits or products for sale to be viewed in the most
efficient and "commercially attractive way". For this reason, the surrounding coverings
must be designed in such a way as to not catch the eye of the visitor-customer which
should be directed to the exhibits and not disoriented by many joints, shapes and colors.
By mixing the final surface varnish with golden, silver or copper glitter we obtain the possibility
of special visual effects especially in areas with peripheral illumination.

POOLS
CEMENT The trowel application process of the FAIRMATE MICROCRETE SYSTEMS allows us
to realize patterns which inside the swimming pool water, create the illusion of "moving
water" under a light wind breeze and therefore provide unique design possibilities. In
addition to that the possibility of application in different shapes and colours allows us to
create artificial islands, benches, antislip surfaces and special constructions without
being affected by the chemicals oftenly used inside swimming pools.

SPECIAL CONSTRUCTIONS
CEMENT A special and important category of application is the furnitures and special
constructions. FAIRMATE MICROCRETE SYSTEM provides integrated solutions on
covering furniture, sanitary wear, fireplaces even heating panels. The FAIRMATE
MICROCRETE decorative layers can be applied directly on wood, metal, porcelain,
gypsum boards, cement boards as long as they are stable and free of rising humidity.

Description : the shades presented on the nonstandard colour chart are obtained
FAIRMATE MICROCRETE by mixing the relevant basic pigment FAIRMATE MICROCRETE (i.e. for pastel
green 12084 basic pigment is the 0084 or for coralo 12034 the 0034) with the
STANDARD relevant quantity of white pigment FAIRMATE MICROCRETE Signal white
according to the proportions listed near each colour scale. The prescript proportions
CEMENT refer to a quantity of 7,5Kg PREMIUM powder. For the packaging of 15Kg the double
quantity is required. The FAIRMATE MICROCRETE pigments of the nonstandard
COLORS colour chart, is not recommended to be applied in total water immersion i.e.
swimming pools even if they are mixed with PREMIUM SP powder and latex
