SCENE 1
- PROJECT SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT TRAINING VIDEO
Sub-scene 1.1. narration:
Hi good people, this video will explain about project
schedule management for travelers.

Sub-scene 1.2. narration:

Meet Covide and he is running out of time to plan his trip.
To manage his schedule, what does he need now?
For this kind of situation, Micheal Altshuler said
"The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the
pilot."

Sub-scene 1.3. narration:

Covide needs to be a good pilot.
a good schedule management planner to ensure his trip
schedule meets hisbased on needs, which is controllable,
and easy to develop and monitor.
His plan will help Covide’s schedule become effective and
efficient; it means no overlaps orand duplication of
activitiesy which could push himcreates a potential of over
budget.

SCENE 2
- FORMULATE A SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR A TRIP

Sub-scene 2.1. narration: (input)

The first thing to do, Covide needs to schedule is his
activities plan based on his project charter and project
management plan.

Sub-scene 2.2. narration: (tools and techniques)

Expert judgment is to get any input from someone who has the
experience and knowledge of a trip in developing his
schedule management plan so his journey will succeed.
Analyzes any data about the trip to determine how detailed
the schedule needs to be and how often it should be reviewed
and updated.
Conduct planning meetings with Covide’s parents and anyone
with responsibility for schedule planning to develop his
trip schedule management plan.

Sub-scene 2.3. narration: (Output)

Now… Covide has a general plan. Let'slet’s fillmake it in
the details by defining the activities.

[end scene 2]

SCENE 3
- DEFINE COVIDE’S TRIP ACTIVITIES
Sub-scene 3.1. narration: (input)
Covide’s next move is to detail his activities by:
- identifying and documenting the specific actions

- In what way?
Sub-scene 3.2. narration: (tools and techniques)
Decomposition.
Define the activities into a more manageable part, by
dividing and subdividing the project scope and project
deliverables into smaller tasks.

Sub-scene 3.3. narration: (Output)

BAftery defining activities, Covide will have a listhave
list of his activities and milestones of the trip.
[end scene 3]

4
SCENE 4
- SEQUENCE ACTIVITIES OF COVIDE’S TRIP
Sub-scene 4.1. narration: (input)
Next is sequencing the activity to identify and document the
relationships among the project activities.

The sequence plays a vital role to describe the order of

Covide’s activities from day one of his trip until the end.

Sub-scene 4.2. narration: (tools and techniques)

ToIn identifying and documenting the sequence, Covide’s
uses:
Precedence diagramming method to see the logical
relationship which shows the sequence in which the
activities are to be performed.
Sub-scene 4.3. narration: (Output)
What he has from sequencing is
a schedule network diagram: a graphical representation of
the logical relationships, also referred to as dependencies,
among the schedule activities for the trip.
[end scene 4]

SCENE 5
- ESTIMATE ACTIVITY DURATIONS ON THE TRIP

Sub-scene 5.1. narration: (input)

How Covide estimatesestimate activity duration is vital to
accomplish an activity with the estimated resources.

Sub-scene 5.2. narration: (tools and techniques)

BesidesBeside using expert judgment, meetings and data
analysis Covide also uses analogous estimating.
It means that Covide uses historical data from a similar
activity or trip as a reference to estimate the duration
activities for his trip.

Sub-scene 5.3. narration: (Output)

This phase will produce:
Estimation Duration, which is required periods to complete
an activity
Basisc of estimate, which is the amount and type of
additional details supporting the duration estimate vary by
application area
[end scene 5]

SCENE 6
- DEVELOP COVIDE’S SCHEDULE
Sub-scene 6.1. narration: (input)
Develop schedule means to have a complete itinerary for the
trip.

Sub-scene 6.2. narration: (tools and techniques)

In order to make his itinerary, Covide uses the critical
path method.
It means that Covide can calculates the early start, early
finish, late start, and late finish dates for all activities
on his trip without regard for any resource limitations by
performing a forward and backward pass analysis through the
schedule

Sub-scene 6.3. narration: (Output)

Once it is done, he will have Schedule Baseline
Project baseline: more often presented graphically using bar
chart, milestone chart, and Project schedule network
diagrams
[end scene 6]

7
SCENE 7
- CONTROL YOUR SCHEDULE
Sub-scene 7.1. narration: (input)
Control Schedule is the process of monitoring the status of
the project to update the project schedule and managing
changes to the schedule baseline.

The more Covide is trying to stick with his fixed itinerary,

the easier it isfor his to control his schedule.
Sub-scene 7.2. narration:
If there is a change to his scheduled baseline trip, in
order to control it, Covide requires knowing the actual
performance to date.

[end scene 7]

SCENE 8
- CLOSING
Sub-scene 8.1. narration:
Now Covide already has his schedule and knows how to monitor
and control it.

Is Covide a good pilot now? Yes, he is.
