As per the cross-section details furnished by you & to comply your requirement, we recommend
the following equipment.

KYB CONMAT FIX FORM CONCRETE PAVER, Model CE 200HD, 22 Ft

long suitable for 4.50Mt span paving in single pass equipped with vibratory
cylinder attachment to spread, consolidate & finish the slab along with gang
mounted needle vibrators (9 nos) at max 60 cm apart operating at a
frequency of 8300 – 9600 vpm having variable option with 4 nos grade
jacks with 4 nos sensor control for grade levelling on both sides to run on
pre laid & levelled rail ( without steer control)

Once the sub-grade/sub-base has been prepared to an accurate profile, the following steps are
suggested as standard paving procedures for paving concrete roads.

a) Shuttering formwork of 450 mm depth (depending on requirement) shall be fixed in place

longitudinally on either side of the slab to be paved.

b) Standard 40/50lbs metre gauge rails (to be supplied by purchaser) will be placed on both
sides, outside the shuttering form work are to levelled & align. The rails will be mounted on
height adjusting rail jacks with the wooden sleeper blocks placed on the sub-grade at every 50 -
60 cm intervals (rail jacks can be ordered with the equipment & wooden sleeper blocks to be
provided by purchaser).

c) The CE-200HD Cylinder Concrete Finisher and the CW – 24H Heavy Duty WALK-WAY
will ride on the rails to pave the slab.

d) Concrete shall be placed from sides of the Paver by means of truck mixers / Tippers in
front of the paver & to spread by loader if heap is formed.
In case use of Side discharge conveyor, the concrete shall be fed into hopper by
Concrete mixer and the concrete is carried in belt and unfirmly distributed between the slab to
be paved.

e) The Gang mounted Needle vibrators mounted in front of the paver which is vibrating to
the tune of around 9600vpm max shall impart in-depth vibration. The CE-200HD Cylinder
Concrete Paver/Finisher shall level, consolidate, pave and finish the surface while imparting
vibrations to the concrete slab.

f) The CW- 24H Series Walk Way is used as a platform by workmen to carry out final
touch-up and inspection of the surface.
g) The paved top surface shall be smooth and to be textured & cured

h) The longitudinal joints along the slab and transverse joints shall be cut using a concrete
saw cutting machine, which to be procured by you.

We recommend the side vibrators @ 200mm distance from side shuttering to attain good side
finish without any honeycombing. In-between vibrators are adjustable

When the vibrators to pass over dowel bar, there is provision for tilting arrangements for
vibrators to avoid fouling.

IMPORTANT:DO NOT RUN VIBRATOR IN DRY MODE & always to be immersed in concrete while
vibrating. Dry run shall seize the high-speed motors.
