Introduction:
Hello, this is my oral presentation for English level two.
First, I’m going to introduce myself, then I’m going to talk about my experience in Boyacá.
After that, I’m going to talk about the weather in Boyacá and finally I’m going to give you
recommendations if you go to Boyacá.
Let’s get started!
1. This is me, my name is Rosmira Torrado, I was born in Hacarí north of Santander, but I
live in Cucuta. I am an Environmental engineer and I live with my partner. I have one cat
and one dog. I like playing volleyball, travelling and spending time with my family.
2. Now, let’s continue with the experience during my trip in Boyacá:
Last vacations I went to Boyacá with my family. We visited some small towns and we
spent few money because the hotels and the restaurants were not expensive. I visited
many interesting and historical places, but the place that I liked the most was Playa Blanca
that is small beach in a lagoon called Tota. We stayed in Boyacá ten days and then we
came back because I started working.
The weather in Boyacá was great, it was cold but during the day it was sunny.
3. Now I want to give you some recommendations when you plan to go to Boyacá.
First of all it is better that you travel during the day because the landscape is amazing.
It's recommended that you wear a sweater.
It's a good idea that you buy handicrafts because they are not expensive.
It's necessary that you use a sunblock lotion and t's important that you wear sunglasses.
It's recommended that you try the typical food because it is delicious.
and finally, It's better that you have a good camera to take many pictures.
If you plan to go to Boyacá you had better travel during the day to see the landscape. You
should visit many of its towns and historical places, but you ought to visit Playa Blanca and
ride in a boat. You should try the typical food such as the desserts from Iza.
To finish, you shouldn’t forget a jacket or a sweater and you had better not pay expensive
hotels because there are small hotels that are comfortable and cheap.
