Various displays can be viewed to have relevant
information for analysis

• Single views:
•S-scan, A-scan, C-scan, B-scan

•Combinations:
•A-scan + S-scan
•A-scan + S-scan + C-scan
•A-scan + S-scan + C-scan + D-scan

Almost every combination is possible.

Limiting factor is often the size of the screen

Soft gain and image filters

Virtual gain can be added or removed for clearer

view of indications

Image filters can be set to filter out low or high
amplitudes

Be careful: this can also filter out weak signals
(diffractions!)

Often 2 cursors possible with display of difference
between 1 and 2

A-scan display linked to position of cursor in other
views

Cursors in different views linked to each other, i.e.
movement of cursor in C-scan will change A-scan
and S-scan image
