Political Science or Legal Management?

Lawyers of r/PH
I'm a Senior High school student that will enter college in a few months, I'm planning on taking either
Political science or Legal Management. Legma seems to be the pragmatic choice, but I feel that I'l
enjoy/excel in Polsci.
Whats the better pre law course between Polsci and Legma? benefits and disadvantages etc.
Passed both DLSU and ADMU, which institution offers the better education in said courses?

May bias ako sa PolSci (pero I came from UPD but I took law school elsewhere). I'll give you a
rundown.
1. PolSci curriculum of ADMU and DLSU are like those in UP. May UP Polsci alumni na
nagtuturo dyan. Di sya actually pag law kasi bihira yung law na tinuturo. But I still
recommend PolSci. They would assign you lots of readings which will help you in law
school. You would learn some concepts also. Iba rin kasi Political Science from Law.
Social sciences sya. In our undergrad, we were not taught to memorize preamble.
We study elites, political culture etc. And some law.
2. Legal Management ata they would teach you law subjects but not as in depth as in
law school. Parang pinadali na ObliCon, Property, Nego Law etc. Again I have no
idea really.
You can never go wrong with it. Actually any course naman would do in law school. But remember,
most of the SC justices e Political Science undergrad nila.

You can’t go wrong in both since they’re all traditionally pre-law courses. Follow your interests and
evaluate which of the 2 courses will enhance your writing/reading/oral communication skills.

Took LegMa in San Beda Uni. It depends on the curriculum of the school. SBU's LegMa program
mirrors that of law school and provides the credit requirements in English, Math, Social Sciences, etc
of most law schools. In ADMu afaik is like 50-50 in Law and Management subjects.

If your goal is to go to Law School, it wont matter.
