SR 12614510 Check in of Real populated Graphic with many embedded takes a long time
to complete.

are copied to the extracted location

Installation Instructions
==============================

1. Execute "HF-L00151686.exe" to extract Hot Fix deliverables.


Hot Fix deliverables will be copied to the location: "[Root
Drive]:\Users\Public\Documents\Schneider Electric\HF-L00151686"

2. Ensure that there are 6 files at the location "[Root


Drive]:\Users\Public\Documents\Schneider Electric\HF-L00151686"
a.ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicLibrary.dll
b.gacutil.exe
c.gacutil.exe.config
d.gacutlrc.dll
e.install.bat
f.InstallHotfix.exe

3. Close all Wonderware products including ArchestrA IDE, WindowViewer and


WindowMaker.

4. [Specific to GR node] Stop ArchestrA GalaxyRepository service and ArchestrA


Watchdog Service by executing the following commands from Start->Run
Net Stop watchdog_service
sc config aaGR start= disabled
Net Stop aaGR

5. Take a backup of following dll:


"ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicLibrary.dll"

For this follow these instructions:


In run command, type the following:
"[root
drive]:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicLibr
ary"
Open the sub folder in this path and take a backup of
ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicLibrary.dll.

After this, close the opened folders.

6. To install "ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicLibrary.dll" run install.bat as


Administrator. For this Right click on install.bat and click on "Run as
administrator".

7. Click on "Yes" button(s) to complete the installation. The Hotfix Manager tool
will write the information of the
Hot Fix to "<RootDrive>:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\Hotfixes\HFDB.xml".

8. You can view the HotFix information installed on the machine by executing the
'HotFixViewer.exe'
[<Root drive>]:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider
Electric\HotfixViewer\HotFixViewer.exe.
The 'HotFixViewer.exe' reads the installed hot fix information from the
HFDB.xml.

9. [Specific to GR node] Start ArchestrA GalaxyRepository service and ArchestrA


Watchdog Service by executing the following commands from Start->Run
sc config aaGR start= auto
Net Start aaGR
Net Start watchdog_service

10. Start ArchestrA IDE and connect to galaxy.

Other brief details:

* Backup merely involves copying the files to another location. Do not rename the
files in the same location.
* Machine does not have to be rebooted.
* On 32-bit OS the Program Files path will be "[RootDrive:]\Program Files\"
