1. What is multimedia in computer concept?

 It is the field concerned with the computer-controlled integration of text,

graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animation, audio, and any
other media where every type of information can be represented, stored,
transmitted and processed digitally.

2. Using the Internet, find FIVE examples for each main area (education, business and
leisure) where multimedia is used.

 Education
a. Prezi -  allows a new interactive way operating and showing
information to viewers
b. Powerpoint Presentation - is the most popular presentation program
which allows users to create, edit and show beautiful presentations
with the help of slides.
c. Blogs - to share the ideas and great experiences with other people
d. Animated Videos - Emphasises development of students' skills and
understanding of creating and responding.
e. Adobe Photoshop - is used to edit the digital image application
 Business
a. Social Networking Sites – it changed the way businesses interact with
customers and the public at large
b. Advertisement – it supports the salesmanship
c. Livecasting - to reach and interact with more people across the world.
d. Webcasting - to promote messages or to entice viewers to attend the
event
e. Podcasting – you can record your presentation and a connection to
upload it to the Internet

a. Games – makes the kid sharper and mentally more active
b. Movies – to entertain the viewers.
