RFP FOR Six laning of Proposed Chilakaluripet Bypass on NH 16 (Old NH 05) from Km
357+400 to Km 371+920 (Bypass Length – 16.384 Kms) on Hybrid Annuity Mode in the
State of Andhra Pradesh under Bharatmala Pariyojna.

The Government of India had entrusted to the Authority the development, maintenance and
management of National Highway No. 16 including the section from Km 357+400 to Km
371+920 (approx. 16.384 km). The Authority had resolved to augment the existing road
from Km 357+400 to Km 371+920 (approximately 16.384 km) on the Chennai –
Vijayawada section of National Highway No. 16 (hereinafter called the “NH 16”) in the
State of Andhra Pradesh Six-Laning thereof (the “Project”) on design, build, operate and
transfer (the “DBOT Annuity” or “Hybrid Annuity”) basis, and has decided to carry out the
bidding process for selection of a private entity as the Bidder to whom the Project may be
awarded. Brief particulars of the Project are as follows:

The complete BID document can be viewed / downloaded from e-procurement portal of
NHAI https://etenders.gov.in from 22.10.2018 to 05.12.2018 (up to 1100 Hrs. IST).Bid must
be submitted online only at https:// etenders.gov.in during the validity of registration with the
NHAI e-Tendering Portal being managed by National Informatics Centre, i.e.
https://etenders.gov.in on or before 05.12.2018 (upto 1100 hours IST). Technical
submissions of the Bids received online shall be opened on 06.12.2018 (at 1130 hours IST).

Bid submitted through any other mode shall not be entertained. However, Bid Security,
Demand Draft towards payment of cost of bid document, Power of Attorney and Joint
Bidding Agreement etc. as specified in Clause 2.11.2 of the RFP shall be submitted
physically by the Bidder on or before 06.12.2018 (at 1100 hours IST). Please note that the
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject all or any of the BIDs without assigning any
reason whatsoever.
