1-Howshouldsickpeoplebehaveinthefamily,toavoidcontaminatingothers?

Wearing a mask in the presence of family and friends

Cough into the crease of the elbow
Do not touch common objects
Daily washing of surfaces such as mobile phones, door handles and switches
Wash your hands 6 times a day and at key moments when you put your hand to your mouth.
Staying in a specific room
Not sharing a room
If possible have your own bathroom and toilet.
Avoid visits
Avoid contact with other occupants
Do not go to public places (do not go to the market, do not go to religious ceremonies, prayers...).
Change sheets every day (wash at 60°C if possible), do not shake dirty sheets.
Change your clothes every day and wash them immediately after taking them off.
2-Intimesofepidemic,howdoImaintainmyhome?

Cleaning and disinfection are essential practices to combat the COVID-19 epidemic. Never forget that
soap and chlorine are your best allies! Here are a few things to keep in mind.
Make an effort to clean and disinfect the family premises once a day.
Think about the places that are frequently touched: door handles, switches, etc.
Places receiving people from the outside must be disinfected several times a day.
Use soap, floor cleaner or a 0.1% chlorine solution (beware the chlorine solution is very corrosive
and can be dangerous).
Change the sheets regularly without shaking them, wash them with detergent or soap.
Wash your clothes everytime you go out.
Mosquito nets: washing with cold water and soap and drying in the shade is appropriate (exposure
to the sun is not good for the mosquito repellent chemicals the net was soaked with).
Ventilate closed rooms daily.
For rooms where more than one person sleeps, move the beds as far away as possible, ventilate
throughout the night.
3-Howtomanagequeues?

For all the queues (distribution, shops...) it is necessary to avoid promiscuity. The basic rules are:
Keep a distance of at least 1m between each person.
Prefer the outdoors where the virus is more rapidly dispersed and neutralised by solar radiation.
In stores, disinfect baskets and trolleys between each user
4-HowtobehaveduringavisittoapersoninfectedbyCOVID-19and
hospitalized?
In epidemic periods, visits to hospitals may be prohibited. They are most often prohibited in isolation
areas of contagious patients.
Reduce visits to the strict minimum
Only one visitor at a time
Wash your hands at the entrance to the hospital, if the visitor touches the patient, and at the
hospital discharge.
Keeping away from the patient
If the patient is able-bodied, give preference to meetings outside the care rooms.
5-Howtoadaptone'sreligiouspracticetotheepidemiccontext?

Numerous examples from around the world have shown that religious gatherings have been the
source of intense contamination with many patients linked to these gatherings. Religious authorities
can make recommendations to make religious practices compatible with controlling the epidemic by
incorporating barrier gestures.

Favouring prayers at home

Washing hands at the entrance to religious buildings
Limiting the number of worshippers at ceremonies, or cancelling ceremonies
Disinfecting (cleaning with soap of floors and furniture) the premises after the gatherings
6-Howtoactinschools?

Strengthen hygiene education

Provide hand washing facilities (soap and water, washing points)
Avoid overcrowded classrooms as much as possible.

In general, choose soap and avoid chlorine for domestic use.

Chlorine performs as well as soap but is more dangerous in certain situations such as domestic use
(contact with eyes, skin, risk of ingestion by children). It is more used for mass collective actions and
in hospital environments because it is easier to prepare in large quantities and does not require
rinsing.

Danger of using chlorine :

Keeping it out of the reach of children.
If sprayed in the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
If swallowed, chlorine can cause severe internal burns that can lead to severe disability and
death.
