Floating Aerators Covering Aquafen: Technical Specifications Installation, Maintenance, Starting Up, and Warranties
AQUAFEN
IMPORTANT
COVERING COMPOSITION:
The covering is made of:
The square central funnel
The 4 central sections
The 4 small sections
The four links between Aquafen float and covering and covering between the bank and
4 slings with 8 shackles
The 8 lifting plates for covering with diameter of 8 m
The 8 lifting counter plates for covering with diameter of 8 m
8 slings for the lifting with the crane for covering with diameter of 8 m
Be careful to center the covering on the top of the Aquafen otherwise you will split the
covering with the Aquafen motor.
With the help of rigging plates, center the covering to 1 meter above the water level
then when the visual center is correct (the 4 linking plates are equidistant from the
covering), put the covering on the water.
With the help of a boat, fix on the covering the 4 linking plates with two screws per
plate. Remove the 8 handling slings.
Do not climb on the covering. Install on the lifting rings at the center of central sections
the 4 lifting slings that the crane operator has (in general they have chains).
Put the 4 slings at 90 ° on the Aquafen thanks to 4 shackles.
Fit the 4 linking plates on the slings thanks to 4 other shackles. Plates must absolutely
be equidistant from the float on the four slings. Then secure the machine Aquafen to the
bank. Attach the motor cable to one of the four slings but being careful to make a loop
that plunge into the water at the point of connection plates.
The plates will be the guide point of the deposing of the covering with the crane.
Be careful to center the covering on the top of the Aquafen otherwise you will split the
covering with the Aquafen motor.
With the help of rigging plates, center the covering to 1 meter above the water level
then when the visual center is correct (the 4 linking plates are equidistant from the

With the help of a boat, fix on the covering the 4 linking plates with two screws per
plate. Remove the 4 handling slings.
2.1 STORAGE
Store the elements in a place where they cannot receive shocks.
The one year warranty is restricted to repair free of charge or replacement free of charge (as decided by
the manufacturer or his representative) of parts recognized as defective, without any other service or
compensation. Supply free of charge of spare parts is "ex-factory" from the manufacturer's plant, the
manufacturer being entitled to request the return FOB to his plants of the parts replaced or to be replaced.
The warranty starts on the date of the delivery voucher or, in the event of extended storage, the date of the
availability voucher.
The terms of the warranty may have been negotiated when the order was placed. In this case, only the
written clauses of the order explicitly accepted by our services are applicable.

- The motor protection must be provided in compliance with prevailing standards to prevent overheating

the equipment.
- The warranty is rendered null and void if the buyer undertakes repair or modification on his own initiative.
- In all cases, when handling of the aerators requires hoisting gear, this gear must always be supplied to
our crews by the customer. In the event we have to rent the hoisting gear ourselves, the cost will be
refunded to us by the customer.
4- VARIOUS CLAUSES
No claims are receivable more than ten days after the reception of the equipment by the customer.
