Processing Raw Data Images in Photoshop Lab

Before you begin, download and install the free trial of Adobe Photoshop. This trial is good for 7
days, but that will be plenty of time for you to complete this assignment. After you have
installed Photoshop, download the image attached to this assignment to process. Alternatively,
you can go to the JunoCam (https://www.missionjuno.swri.edu/junocam/processing) site and
find your own image to process. To do that, find a raw image that interests you, download and
unzip the image package, and use the -mapprojected.png image file to process.
1. Open Photoshop.
2. On the File Menu, select Open to navigate to and open the file you want to process.
3. On the File Menu, select Save As. Enter a name for your project, change the type to
Photoshop, and click Save.
4. On the Filter Menu, select Convert for Smart Filters, and click OK on the window that
pops up.
5. On the Filter Menu, select Camera Raw Filter.
6. Try out different filters on the Basic tab to make as clear an image as you can.
7. You can also try filters on other tabs.
