LORESCO SC-3® COKE BACKFILL

Application

Loresco SC-3® surface modified calcined petroleum backfill is

designed specifically for demanding anode systems which
mandate a low resistivity medium. SC-3® is extremely pure and
complies with regulations governing buried products. Utilising a
modified industrial standard for testing permeability (API RP-27),
SC-3® will mitigate fluid interchange between aquifers.

Loresco type SC-3® carbon backfill with excellent conductive

properties for use with impressed current anodes. It is suitable
for shallow or deep groundbeds and can be poured or pumped. Particles before coating

• Minimum calcination temperature 1250oC under ISO 9002

• Surfactants added to assist in pumping and settling

Packing

Product will be shipped in 50lb (22.7kg) coated, woven polypropylene bags. SC-3® may be stored
outside for limited periods (not exceeding 400 hours of sunlight).
