 A. REGISTRATION

Ø Registration process

Online registration can only be done via http://www.fise.fr/en. It is necessary to create

a rider profile directly on the website. Then the registration form has to be filled in
online. For minors, parental permission is required and must be uploaded on the
website while registering. Without authorization, on-line registration will not be taken
into account. The registration fee will be directly paid online via PayPal.

In case you have already been at a FISE event or already have an account and have lost
your password to log in on your rider profile, contact our FISE Sports Team at contest@fise.fr .

Online registration will close 9 days before the start of the event.
After October the 22nd, it will not be possible to register anymore.

« Registration in the Men Elite and Women Elite categories for the UCI BMX Freestyle
World Cup shall be done by pre-registration only. Once the pre- registration deadline
has passed, no further entries shall be accepted. »

« The organizer is not allowed to accept any entries after the riders’ confirmation*
deadline found in the Technical Guide. The Commissaire appointed to supervise the
Competition shall rule in the event of a dispute.
Ignorance of the provisions of the Technical Guide or of the competition schedule
shall not be admitted as an excuse by any rider or other license holder. »

« No further entries shall be accepted following the end of riders’ confirmation*.

Likewise, any riders who entered but did not attend riders’ confirmation, shall be
removed from the list of entries and not allowed to start. »

*Riders’s confirmation take place at the registration booth on the event.

 Ø Registration regulations

• License
A valid cycling license, as defined in Part I of the UCI Regulations is required and must
be presented at riders confirmation to check their identity. An identity card or passport
is also mandatory.
Once all the terms of the registration are completed, the organization will give riders a
wristband allowing them to enter the competition area. It is imperative that all the
riders keep their band throughout the event, otherwise the access to the park will be
denied.

A rider whose license could not be verified and whose status as a non- suspended
license holder cannot be established in any other manner may not start and may not
figure in the classification of the event. »

Entry in the competition implies agreement with the event schedule, regulations and
all provisions of the Technical Guide.

Ø Rules

Each participant is engaged on their own behalf and those of their employees and
agents, and must observe all the provisions of the Technical Guide for the event.
Every participant shall follow the directions of the organization and appointed officials,
and any penalties that may be applied.
Ignorance of the provisions of the Technical Guide or the event schedule shall not be
admitted as an excuse by any rider or other license holder.
You certify that you have no contraindications (medical or otherwise) to practice a
sport in competition.
Also you authorize the intervention of first aid, and if necessary, your transfer to
medical services.
You authorize SAS Hurricane and their partners:
- to film and / or photograph you
- to reproduce, exploit and disseminate whatever the medium, or the content
produced.
- to use your image and the said product contents whether for commercial purposes
and or promotional.
You grant this from this day and for a 10-year free of charge. You undertake not to ask
for any remuneration or financial contribution to SAS Hurricane and partners.

Ø JUDGING CRITERIA

The performance of each rider is judged on overall impression including, but not
limited to:
- Difficulty - Versatility - Bike control
- Height - Style - Landings
- Flow - Consistency - Use of the course
- Originality - Variety of tricks - Execution
- Control of the tricks - Progression
The overall composition of the runs is most important as the judges evaluate the sequences
of tricks, the amount of risk in the routine, and how the rider uses the course. The judges
take errors such as falls and stops into consideration.

Ø POINTS TABLE

At each stage of the UCI BMX Flatland World Cup, points are awarded to riders to establish
an overall ranking. This ranking is updated at each stop. An overall classification will be
established at the end of the tour and rewarded with prize money. The distribution of the

It has been called China's "App For Everything" because of its many functions
and platform. This App is used by almost everyone in China and it’s the best
way to communicate with others (as WhatsApp is not permitted in China). So
we advice you to download this App for an easier contact.

 Ø HOW TO GET A CHINESE VISA ?

Here is the process we recommend you to follow :

1. Contact the Chinese embassy of your country to know the requirements of applying to a
Chinese visa,
2. Send us an email at contest@fise.fr with a copy of your passport and your travel dates to get
your invitational letter,

4. Schedule an appointment at the embassy :

5. Go to your embassy to proof your identity with your biometric fingerprint (new) :
Do not forget to bring all the documents required and the proof of your appointment.
These fingerprints are valid for 5 years, you will not have to do it again the next years.
6. Pay the application visa fees at the embassy.

Apply for the visa as soon as you can, as the entire process can take a month.

Chengdu is the capital of the province of Sichuan and one of the most dynamic places in Western
China. It is the first Chinese town to be twinned with a European city, and is accustomed to hosting
national and international events, as FISE.
It is the first chinese city to be twinned with a french one (22/06/1981) which is Montpellier (France)
the known city for the biggest stop of FISE World Series.

Ø SHUTTLES

Shuttle buses will be available from October the 28th to October the 31th from Chengdu
Airport to Tai Ming Hotel (no other stops possible).

In case of a delayed plane, canceled plane or other difficulties with your trip,

In case you arrival or departure date is not included in thoses dates, other ways of
transportation are available from the airport :
• Taxi
The taxi fare is about CNY80-100 from the Airport to North Railway Station, about CNY60 to
East Railway Station, and about CNY20-30 to South Railway Station. Usually, you can
negotiate the price with the taxi driver. The acceptable bargain price is about CNY50 by taxi
to the city center area.
• Train
Train is easily accessible for passengers to go to the two railway stations in the city. It takes
about 10 minutes to South Railway Station and 16 minutes to East Railway Station.
• Airport Shuttles
There are several shuttle buses running to the downtown area of the city.
• Metro to city center
Line 10 of the metro is accessible at T1 & T2 of Shuangliu International Airport.

All participating riders must respect their accommodation, and those who live there. Each
rider who does not respect their accommodation will be sanctioned by a cancellation of
their prize money, and a suspension of the competition points. You represent the image of
BMX, the image of extreme sports, as well as the image of FISE.
