Project Title:
Abuse Prevention App

Outline/Abstract:
Women’s safety is a big concern which has been the most important topic till date. Either
developed or developing country, both are struggling to fight war against women’s abuse &
violence. Women safety matters a lot whether at home, outside the home or working place. Few
crimes against ladies particularly rape cases were terribly dread and fearful. Most of the women
of various ages, till this day are being subjected to violence, domestic abuse, and rape. As ladies
ought to travel late night generally, it’s necessary to remain alert and safe. Most of the females
these days carry their smartphone with them, so it is necessary to have at least one the personal
safety app installed, ours is also IOS & android based app. Such a security app for ladies will
definitely facilitate in a way or the opposite. This is user-friendly application that can be
accessed by anyone who has installed it in their smart phones. In this system user needs to feed
two to three contact numbers, in case of emergency on moving the phone up and down thrice, the
system sends SMS to the numbers fed into the system with the location. The phone starts
vibrating and siren starts ringing. This features for both everyday safety and real emergencies,
making it an ultimate tool for all.

The system comprises of 2 major modules as follows:

Scope:
- This app is developed basically for women safety intention to end/prevent abuse, to put
an instantaneous location and emergency hit to your selected friends, relatives or family
members.
- User has two main features for crisis which would be started by just clicking on the
button or by shaking the phone thrice.
- These features are as – First, SMS will be sent to chosen associates with your locality.
Second, an alarm/siren is started with large volume on your mobile.
- This application uses GPS for identifying the location of the person in trouble and the
system can be divided into two modules. First, the victim’s phone i.e. the root device
which uses 3G/2G data connection for tracking the location of the victim through GPS.
Second, the mobile phone of registered contacts either friends or family members which
receive the message containing URL of location of victim that is sent from the root
device.
- This app is a fast, free and a simple way to share location using GPS tracking in real time
with friends and family.

Objective of the project:

Provide safety to women from sexual abuse and crime by use of Information
technology. The project idea is to have a software/Information technology
layer between the all the people and police department. User does require
to have a Smart Phone having GPS.

Proposal – II:

Android Smart City Traveler

Project Title:
Android Smart City Traveler.

Outline:
Android Smart City Traveler by the Name indicated smartly makes it way in analyzing user’s
likes and dislikes and the time period the user is willing to explore a place and gives him with
Amazing results in the form of 3 paths to utilize the time. This System is basically used to help a
traveler new to the city or anyone who wants to explore a city in the given time period, the
system makes use of the Foursquare API to get all the locations and places with all their
information to sort and place it before the user in 3 paths to make his choice. The Places are
sorted and selected based on the top rakings by the foursquare. During the user Registration the
user is asked some questions helping them to filter out in searching the places, the places are
displayed on the maps giving a clear idea of the location and giving the paths from one place to
another from the start location to the end location.

Overview/Project Scope:
The System requires a working Internet Connection all the time for the app to work.
The frontend of the System makes use of Android Studio while SQL Server as the Backend.

 Registration: The User has to register into the system with his basic details and answer
few questions asked by the System.
 Login: The User has to Login into the System to make use of it.
 Travel Plan: The user is allowed to see his travel plan, i.e. the current travel plan, the
plan is expired after a day.
 Planning Your Day: The user has to just put in his start time, end time and the start
location and the rest the System does its work.
 Feedback: The user is allowed to give feedback.

Objectives:
- The Data must be very accurate and authentic as it would be taken from Foursquare.
- The Student should be able to Login to use keeping the data secure.
- The user must be able to find the paths to follow to reach the final destination in map
which gives a better view to the users.
- Since the location can be viewed in map, the user should be able to zoom in and zoom
out to get a better view.
- The system should be willing to gives 3 travel plans for the user to select.
- The usage of this application must reduce the time required to search for a place.
- The application should also leads to quicker decision making with respect to places to
visit.

Exam Cell Automation System

Project Title:
Exam Cell Automation System.

Outline:
Currently Exam cell activity mostly includes a lot of manual calculations and is mostly paper
based. The project aims to bring in a centralized system that will ensure the activities in the
context of an examination that can be effectively managed. This system allows students to enroll
themselves into the system by registering their names or by sharing details to admin. This is done
by providing their personal and all the necessary details like Name, email, examination,
semester, etc. The provided details are then entered by admin into the system to create their hall
tickets and also creates login id and password for them. After creating the hall ticket, the system
mails the link of soft copy to every student who have registered. Students containing link in the
mail can view and print the hall ticket and also can login into the system using login id and
password to modify or update their details like Phone number, email-id, etc. Admin is also
responsible for generation of mark sheets for every registered student. There will be total three to
six semesters where each semester contains maximum seven subjects. Admin can enter the
marks of every student into their respective mark sheet using the system’s GUI or via Database
entry. Every student mark sheet will be created and printed separately. Thus on a whole it serves
as a complete automated software which handles the every tedious and complex process handled
during the examination times by the exam cell of a college.

Description:
1. Student Register:
- To register students have to just provide their Personal Details like Name, Address,
Phone No, etc., and a photo, to the enroll himself into the System.
2. Admin Login:
- Admin can view who has enrolled into the system, and can see all the new enrollment
on his login.
3. Send Email:
- After creating the hall ticket, the system mails the link of soft copy to every student
who have registered.
4. Student Login:
- Students can use their credentials provided by admin to login into the system
5. View and Update Details:
- System allows registered students to view and modify/update the personal details like
Phone number, email-id, etc.
6. Mark sheet Generation:
- System allows admin to generate mark sheet of examination for every student.

Objectives:
- This system should be able to allow only the registered students to login into the
system which prevents unauthorized access.
- The students can view their hall ticket by just clicking on link provided by admin via
e-mail.
- The students can even update their details as and when required.

Proposal – IV:

Smart Health Consulting

Project Title:
Smart Health Consulting.

Outline:
This application enables user to express their symptoms and issues. It then processes user’s
issues and symptoms to check for various health issues that could be associated with the
symptoms given by the user. It will provide a facility for all the patients to get appointment
through this site. It will display all the personal information of doctors like address, phone
numbers, specialization and qualification. Tool will be totally user friendly that will be easy to
maintain the administrators.

Overview/Project Scope:
In this system the patients or the user has to register into the application. After registration
patient will be given a unique username and password. Patient can use this for logging into this
application to get the required information. Patient can search the doctors based on the categories
listed in the application i.e. Orthopedic, General Physician etc. Patient has to select a particular
doctor as per requirements from that list, Patient (user) can see doctor’s profile. From that patient
can search the specific doctor. Also the patient can view doctor’s schedule, contact details like
address and phone number to look for an appointment according to his convenience.

Objectives:
- Consulting any doctor is very tiresome task for the patient. There are many cases where
the patient is unable to find out the required doctor for his disease, this become even
worse if there is an emergency case especially when the patient is in an unknown area.
This situation might harm the patient in the meantime. This app will minimize this
problem.
