AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE

 
        I, RODEL SERAPION LEONEN, of legal age, and a
resident of Blk. 1820 Neovista Homes, Brgy. 171, Caloocan
City, after having duly sworn to in accordance with law hereby
depose and state:
 
        1. I am the private complainant in the Illegal Recruitment
case against Alejandro Navarro in the case entitled "People of
the Philippines versus Yvette Valdez and Alejandro Navarro",
filed before the Regional Trial Court, Branch No. 16, City of
Manila.
 
        2. After my sober and soul searching assessment,
analysis and consideration of the case, I came to a conclusion
that I am no longer interested in the prosecution of this case
and I came to terms with the accused Alejandro Navarro.
 
        3. Both parties agreed that the amount of One Hundred
Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php 180,000.00) shall be given in
order for us to be finally at peace with one another. The said
amount shall be deposited to my wife’s bank account in the
following order:

        4. I hereby inform the City Prosecutor of Manila that I am
withdrawing my complaint for Illegal Recruitment before the
Regional Trial Court Branch 16 of the City of
Manila entitled "People of the Philippines versus Yvette Valdez
and Alejandro Navarro".
 
AFFIANT FURTHER SAYETH NAUGHT
 
        IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereby set my hand this 26 th
