A. Introduction What I need to know?
 The learners will do the walkthrough of the lesson expectations.
 In this part, the content of the lesson will be presented.
 Learning objectives will also be introduced to guide the learners on
the learning targets founded on KSAV principles.

What’s new?
 The learners will answer the challenge question indicated at the beginning of this portion.
 The learners will think figuratively about their life with media and can use the words “My
media life is like a...” to help finish the statement.
B. Development What I know?
 The learners will make a picture or drawing of the simile they created. The drawing can include
text.
 The learners will answer some questions for self-assessment.

Questions to consider:
● Are digital media a big part of your life?
● What kind of impact do digital media have on you (a little, some, a lot)?
● What are your favorite and least-favorite things to do with digital media?
● Do you connect with others or create things with digital media? Finish this statement: My
media life is like _______________________________________________
because_________________________________________________________________.

What’s in?
 The learners will watch an educational video from Common Sense Media Education to better
appreciate the 24/7 and social nature of digital media—a major change from the media
consumption culture of the past.

What is it?
 The learners will take a quiz adapted from the video of Commons Sense Media.
C. Engagement What’s more?
 The learners will pick three TVL related controversial stories from the Internet.
 The learners will identify its possible effect on technology development and other fields of
knowledge.

 The learners will write their findings and insights regarding whether such stories should be
regulated.
