Ans: The surrounding or environment in which an animal lives is called its
habitat. The kinds of habitat are

c. Amphibians. Ex. Frog, Toad

2. What is adaptation?

Ans: The process by which animals change themselves to suit the


environment is called adaptations.

3. What do you mean by camouflage? Give examples.

Ans: The size, shape and colour of some animals merge with their
surroundings to protect them from enemies is known as camouflage.
