It is with considerable interest that I apply for the position of English language teacher at The European
School LTD. Master’s degree in English Language and Literature; International qualifications (CAE , IELTS,
TESOL and CELTA);22 years teaching experience and above all, my unwavering enthusiasm and passion
for teaching make me confident that I can be a positive contribution to your academic team.

It is not only due to intensive professional trainings I have been actively engaged in throughout my
career(British Council, ETAG, Pearson , Macmillan,Cengage..) which contributed to my professional
development but also the fact that I have constantly relished challenges and exposed myself to new
institutions.

At LTD. Authors School of Knights (31.10.1998 – 31.01.2005) ;LTD. Saduni (2005-2009) and LTD. Jejili
(2009-2011) I particularly developed the methodology of teaching young learners and staging sketches
which was not only entertaining but also provided useful fluency practice.

LTD Newton Free School was a great opportunity to hone the skill of teaching through films and
PowerPoint since great emphasis was placed on implementing technology at each lesson.

Even though being a teacher, I have always been all –too familiar with ELT course books available on
the world market, the opportunity of working at ‘’Prospero’s Books’’ (01.09.2014-01.01.2015) as a
Methodist provided me with more insight into the latest publications and trends.

LTD. Buckswood Overseas Summer School (six streams2014-2018) was the greatest test to my creativity
and teaching mastery since it involved conducting communicative, student-centered and participative
lessons with teenage upper intermediate/advanced level international students completely off plug.
Apart from teaching, my duties included giving a speech at the morning assemblies; acting as a judge at
presentation/ essay/ project nights ; participating in competitions ;Teaching off-site classes and writing
student reports.

Preparing the students for PET, FCE and CAE examinations at LTD. Georgian American School
(September 2015-June 2016) raised my awareness of exam specifications and students’ needs. Having
gone through the same stages and experienced the exam conditions myself (CAE- grade B point 199,
IELTS- 7.5 twice) also facilitated me to select the right methodology and approach.

British Georgian Academy (2016 July-2017 January) has made me more conscious of British educational
standards and requirements. In addition, I further developed the skill of completing teaching related
administrative tasks to specified standards, including marking exams, completing registers and work
record sheets, standby and placement testing.

Teaching advance level teenage students in winter camp ‘’Sherwood’’, Mountain resort -Bakuriani was
an opportunity to try out innovative and creative ideas at the lessons. My primary goal was contributing
to students’ development of life skills by assigning collaborative, competitive and critical thinking tasks.
Finally, I found conducting business English and IELTS course at the language center Eduhouse (2017
January up to now) particularly rewarding due to having an opportunity of flexibility and experimenting
teaching strategies with the motivated and talented students of different ages and background.

Last but not least, I believe in my current position at The Oxpord Partnership Medina Female Technical
College of Excellence, Saudi Arabia I have developed Cambridge exam preparation to the level of art
which is probably the result of 5-7 hours lessons with the same class on a daily basis making it necessary
for teachers to vary our methodology and material in order to cater for all learning styles and abilities.

In conclusion, the above mentioned qualifications and experience makes me certain that I am able to
evaluate and meet students’ diverse needs; assist them by researching and incorporating effective
methods and materials and above all , responding to constantly changing and increasing demands.
