Market turnover declined to Kes.822M from the previous sessions Kes.877M, the number of shares traded
stood at 29.7M against 31.7M posted yesterday.
Banking
The Banking Sector had shares worth Kes.185M transacted which accounted for 22.44% of the day’s traded
value. KCB Group actively moved 3M shares valued at Kes.104M at between Kes.33.85 and Kes.35.50. Equity
Group Holdings moved 1.2M shares worth Kes.39.6M at a fairly stable price of Kes.32.75. BK Group slipped
3.47% to Kes.16.70 with shares worth Kes.31M transacted.
Commercial & Services
The Commercial & Services sector had shares worth Kes.35.8M traded & accounted for 4.34% of the day’s
traded value. Scangroup erased the previous sessions gains by 9.28% to Kes.20.05 with shares worth Kes.34M
transacted.
Investment
The Investment sector had shares worth Kes.12M traded & accounted for 1.50% of the day’s traded value.
Centum moved 533,000 shares valued at Kes.12M at between Kes.23.00 and Kes.25.00.
