landmarks.
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP)
If you were to ask me what my job
was I would say "Sorcerer Supreme"
 
Panel Two: We close in on a street sign. Bleeker Street
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
Now understandably most people
don't exactly know what that
entails. That seems like a pretty
important title right, but then
they wonder why if i'm so
important, that i'm not as famous
as Captain America or the
Fantastic Four?
 
Panel Three: Outside shot of the Sanctum Sanctorum, bright
lights radiate through the window
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
Now I suppose this is a fair
question. My first answer would be
"Most people know who I am, you
must not be from around here"
 
Panel Four: Same panel, but this time the light is blinding
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
But my second answer, my serious
answer would be...

Panel One: Huge panel, most of the page. DOCTOR STRANGE
shoots through the window, tentacles from some sort of
monster stick out of window.
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
... if you knew what i had to deal
with on the daily, you'd never
sleep again.
 
Panel Two: Strange struggles to get back up on his feet.

Panel One: The hands start to grab Strange
 
Panel Two: Strange flies out of their grasp

Panel Three: He conjurs disks to cut some of the arms
 
Panel Four: Big shot of the monster. It looks like
something hidden deep in H.P lovecrafts head. Rows of teeth
and what looks like dozens of tentacles
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
Now I know this seems like
something should be afraid of, but
i'm not, I never was
 
Panel Five: Close up of Strange's face. Scars and gashes
cover him. He looks at this monster with a smirk
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
I eat monsters like this for
breakfast

Panel One: MARY JANE sits alone at a diner, she looks
bored, as if shes waiting
 
Panel Two: PETER PARKER busts through the door, looking at
Mary Jane
 
Panel Three: Peter starts to walk over to her
 
Panel Four: Peter sits at the booth
 
PETER
Sorry I was late, the Hypno
Hustler was making people in Times
Square dance till they dropped,
literally
 
MARY
I'm glad such a dangerous villain
is finally off the streets
 
Panel Five: Mary smiles at Peter

Panel One: Peter and Mary sit opposite each other, a window
to the outside in the middle of them
 
MARY (CONT'D)
So hows May?
 
PETER
You know how she is, lending me
money that she doesn't have
 
Panel Two: Same panel

MARY
Its not like you have much to
spend either
 
PETER
I still don't feel good taking it
from her
 
Panel Three: Same panel except we see Doctor Strange being
thrown past the window. People flee in terror
 
Panel Four: Same panel except Peter gives Mary a sorry
smile and the monster is walking buy in the background
 
MARY
Just go
 
Panel Five: Same panel except Peter is gone. Mary sits
there with her head in her hands.
 
PETER (OFF PANEL)
Sorry babe love you!

Panel One: Strange uses the Winds of Watoom to push the
monster back
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP)
This is a new kind of beast,
stronger than ones I usually go
against
 
Panel Two: The creature spits up an acid that is about to
hit a civilians
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP) (CONT'D)
Still, nothing that I can't handle
 
Panel Three: Steven opens a portal under the acid, spilling
it right back onto the monsters head
 
Panel Four: Strange grabs it with the Crimson Bands, trying
to hold it down
 
SPIDER-MAN (OFF PANEL)
Need some help?

Panel One: Big shot of SPIDER-MAN Swinging in

You look overwhelmed

Panel Two: Spidey on top of the monster, Strange is in the
background still holding it with the bands
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
I'm pretty whelmed right now but I
still appreciate the assistance
 
SPIDER-MAN
So what's this guys deal Doc?
 
Panel Three: Peter tries to web up the its tentacles
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
I'm not sure, it just appeared in
the Sanctum, when we're done here
i'm going to investigate what
happened. Do me a favor and help
me wrap this up.
 
SPIDER-MAN

Panel One: Close up of Strange's eyes, they glow red
 
Panel Two: Spider-man jumps off of the monster
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
Spider-man move now!
 
Panel Three: Big shot of the monster being sent through a
massive portal. On the other side of the portal is fire and
lava.
 
Panel Four: The monster is gone Spider-man stands next to
Strange who is catching his breath
 
SPIDER-MAN
So where'd you send him
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
The Dark Dimension
 
SPIDER-MAN
Why didn't you do that earlier?
 
Panel Five: Strange walks off, leaving Spider-Man alone
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
I didn't want to. Come on, lets go
see where this guy came from

Panel Two: TONY STARK walks down a staircase. Behind him at
the top is a swarm of reporters, he waves them off
 
TONY

TONY (CAP)
Billionaire, Genius, Futurist,
Avenger, Guardian Of the Galaxy
excetera excetera.
 
Panel Three: Tony walks into a door, about to open it
 
TONY (CAP) (CONT'D)
I've made a life off of being
smarter than everyone else, of
understanding what people wanted
before they did and giving it to
them.
 
Panel Four: Tony looks surprised as he opens the door and
looks in
 
TONY (CAP) (CONT'D)
Now one thing that I've never
really been able to truly
understood...

wearing a green suit. Stark looks on in the background.
 
MORDO
Hello Tony.
 
TONY (CAP)
... is @!$%^%$ magic
 
TONY
You know you have to set up
appointments right, you can't just
walk in.
 
Panel Two: Mordo turns and looks at Tony.
 
MORDO
I have no need of appointments.
You have something that I desire.

I recognize this guy, Karl Mordo.
He's one of Strange's dudes. Guy
has a massive ego so I don't
exactly want to feed into that

Panel One: Tony starts walking over to the desk
 
TONY
I'm sorry I don't think I caught
your name, who are you again?
 
Panel Two: Mordo stands up.
 
MORDO
I am Baron Karl Mordo, and again,
you have something that I need.
 
Panel Three: Tony walks over to a fridge to the left of the
desk
 
TONY
Are you sure that it's me that has
whatever you need? You sure it's
not another Tony Stark?
 
Panel Four: Tony pulls a water bottle out of the fridge.
 
MORDO
I need one of your armors, it
contains a jewel that I require
 
Panel Five: Tony goes to drink from the bottle
 
TONY
You dress smart, so its weird that
you so stupid. You must know that
i'm not going to give you my armor
right?
 
Panel Six: Same panel except the bottle has vanished from
Tony's hands
 
MORDO (OFF PANEL)
I figured I would ask the easy way
first before I forced you to give
me the location

Panel One: Tony looks at Mordo, his fists clenched

I guess you're going to have to
force it out of me.
 
Panel Two: Mordo rolls his eyes
 
MORDO
So be it
 
Panel Three: Tony shoots a repulsor blast from his hands,
his armor already grafted onto half of his body
 
Panel Four: IRON MAN looks at the desk, it's empty
 
Panel Five: Mordo quickly grabs his head from behind, both
hands over where his ears would be
 
Panel Six: Mordo's eyes go blue

MORDO (CONT'D)
Thank you
 
Panel Two: Tony struggles to pick himself up
 
IRON MAN
Dammit
 
Panel Three: Tony looks up but Mordo is already gone,
vanished without a trace.
 
IRON MAN (CONT'D)
God I hate magic

Panel One: The inside of the Sanctum Sanctorum seems to be
normal, as if nothing ever touched it, the only thing
damaged is the window from earlier. Strange and Spider-Man
walk through the main room
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
Wong! Wong are you here?
 
SPIDER-MAN
Can you tell if anything is
missing?
 
Panel Two: Strange opens a door, nothing is on the other
side
 
Panel Three: Peter opens a door, his eyes grow

Panel One: WONG lays on the ground, bleeding from a wound
in his side
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
Wong, Wong talk to me!
 
Panel Two: The cloak of levitation flies off of Strange's
back
 
Panel Three: It makes itself makeshift bandage as it wraps
itself around Wong's body
 
SPIDER-MAN
Is he breathing?
 
Panel Four: Strange holds his ear against Wong's heart
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
Just barely.
 
Panel Five: Strange puts an aura around Wong
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
I'm putting him in a healing
spell, he should be fine but it
will take him time to heal.

Panel One: Strange uses a levitation spell to hover Wong
over into the main room in the Sanctum
 
SPIDER-MAN
Who could've done this?
 
IRON MAN (OFF PANEL)
It was Mordo
 
Panel two: Iron Man hovers into the Sanctum through the
broken window

He came to me too, he asked me
where I stored my armors, said one
of them had a specific jewel that
he needed
 
Panel Three: Our three heroes stand circled around Wong.
Who is laying on his back with the cloak acting as a
blanket
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
The monster must've been a
distraction
 
SPIDER-MAN
Any idea what he was talking about
Tony?iRON MAN
I have an armor that was enhanced
with an Asguardian crystal in
order to fight Thor. I think
that's what he means
 
Panel Four: Strange's eyes shoot up, he's realized
something.
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
Follow me
 
Panel Five: As Strange walks away , Spidey and Iron Man
look at each other

Panel One: Strange pulls a book off of a shelf in the
library in the Sanctum
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
Mordo always wanted power, he has
been obsessed with it since even
before the Ancient One unlocked
his potential.
 
Panel Two: As Parker and Stark crowd around him, Strange
opens the book to a specific page
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
Now of course that was always his
folly, he would overestimate his
strength and underestimate his
weakness.
 
Panel Three: Strange uses a spell to make the page come to
life, images orbit around the trio, some are of familiar
artifacts.

DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
The ancient one warned us about
about combining the power from
these specific magical totems.
While all based off of ancient
arcane magic, they all came from
different sources an as such are
volatile if combined He told us of
power that we'd never be able to
control, power that would break
our mind before we could
comprehend the strength that we
held. This must be his scheme. He
has no idea of the power he
chases.
 
IRON MAN
Or maybe he does but he thinks he
can handle it
 
Panel Four: Close up of The Eye of Agommoto
 
SPIDER-MAN (OFF PANEL)
So if he could've done this at
anytime, why hasn't he tried
before?
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (OFF PANEL)
He could never kill the Black
Knight
 
Panel Five: Same panel except the holographic eye is gone,
revealing a broken display case behind it.
 
IRON MAN (OFF PANEL)
And why would he be able to kill
Dane now?

projection of the Black Knight and the ebony blade

DOCTOR STRANGE
The Black Knights ebony blade
provides the wielder protection
from death. The only way to kill
the Black Knight is to use a
weapon forged from the same
starstone as the ebony blade
itself.
 
Panel Two: A Projection of Merlin and the "Sorcerers
Supreme"
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
A weapon such as this was created
by Merlin, a dagger capable of
killing the Black Knight. Merlin
died an ally of mine.
 
IRON MAN
You think Mordo has this dagger?
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
I know he has it
 
Panel Three: Stark talking to Strange, who has his back
turned.
 
IRON MAN
Ok then, so we find Dane and
protect him. Strange?
 
Panel Four: Strange turns to face the trio
 
DOCTOR STRANGE
That's the thing Stark.
 
Panel Five: Strange's eyes
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CONT'D)
Dane Whitman died four weeks
ago...

Panel One: A cemetery. It is raining.We see the back of a
hooded man who stands over a grave stone that reads "Dane
Whitman"
 
DOCTOR STRANGE (CAP)
... he was murdered

HULK(CAP)
We were never close, never
friends, we didn't talk much and
in all honesty I don't think he
really liked me.
 
Panel Two: Same shot but from the front
 
HULK(CAP) (CONT'D)
My name is Bruce Banner, and i've
been on the run most of my adult
life. I've never had a family that
cared for me and i've wanted to
die for years now. Unfortunately
the Hulk won't let me. I've been
killed but I just come back.
 
Panel Three: BRUCE BANNER pulls his hood down. He looks
like a mess. A scraggly beard and messy, long hair. A
shadow stands behind him.
 
HULK(CAP) (CONT'D)
But seeing Dane dead reminds me of
the two real families I feel I've
ever had.
 
Panels Four & Five: Flashbacks to Banners days as the HULK
on both The Avengers and The Defenders.
 
HULK(CAP) (CONT'D)
The Avengers. The Defenders. To
them, I wasn't a monster. Where
the hell are they now?
 
MORDO
Why do you pretend that they
wanted you for anything other than
your strength?
 
Panel Six: Banner turns around suprised
 
BANNER
Mordo?!

Panel One: Mordo stands in the rain, same green suit as
before, with three eyes
 
MORDO
Hello Robert
 
Panel Two: Bruce's face, he grows angry, his eyes a slight
tint of green

BANNER
I told you Sorcerers to stay out
of my head
 
MORDO(OFF PANEL)
I've never been one to follow the
rules.
 
Panel Three: Mordo waves his hand in front of Banner
 
HULK(CAP)
Can't... move!
 
MORDO
The eye told me you were here so I
wanted to pay you a visit. I'm
soon to acquire power that would
make make you feel obsolete.
 
Panel Four: Mordo circles around Bruce's frozen body.
 
MORDO (CONT'D)
You've always interested me
Doctor. You hold this great power
yet you try to contain it, to
pretend that you are like the ants
that you live among.
 
Panel Five: Mordo continues to circle him
 
MORDO (CONT'D)
You are filth Doctor, you disgust
me. You contain the strength of a
god but instead you choose to live
among men. You think that decision
denotes your strength of
character, but it merely shows how
weak you truly are.
 
Panel Six: Mordo waves his hand once again and Banner
drops.
 
MORDO (CONT'D)
You will soon have no place in
this world, and while you
continued to live I did not want
you to go on thinking that you
were the strongest there is..
