Lower School Teacher

The International School of Indiana is seeking the following teaching position(s)

in the Lower School for the 2017-18 school year:

 Substitute Teachers

We maintain a list of suitably qualified candidates who are available for short or
long term substitution teaching.

We are especially interested in substitute teachers for our pre-elementary and

elementary school immersion classes who are native speakers of French,
Mandarin or Spanish, and who can be available at very short notice.

In order of preference we employ substitute teachers who:

1. hold an appropriate teaching certification and are a native speaker of the
language in question;

2. are a native speaker with the necessary skills and experience to be an

effective substitute teacher;

3. hold a teaching certification and have a working knowledge of the

language in question, although not at native speaker level.

Our substitute teachers need to identify with the model of education we offer, be
positive team members and be supportive of the school’s efforts. All substitute
teachers must have the right to work in the US and must complete a background
check.
