The procedure was performed in the echo lab at Lifetime Heart and Vascular. This was a routine study. The transthoracic approach was used.
The study included complete 2D imaging, M-mode, complete spectral Doppler and color Doppler. Sonographer:

 Normal size , LV wall thickness is normal

 Normal diastolic function , with normal filling pressures
 No regional wall motion abnormalities

 Normal size , normal Systolic function ,

RV wall thickness is normal .

3. Left Atrium:
 Normal size .
4. Right Atrium:
 Normal size .
5. Septa:
 Inter-atrial septum is intact ,

no flow is seen across the inter-atrial septum .


 Inter-ventricular septum is intact .
6. Mitral Valve:
 Has normal mobility and thickness .
 No mitral valve regurgitation .
 No mitral valve stenosis .
7. Aortic Valve:

Tri-cuspid .
 No aortic regurgitation .
 No aortic stenosis .
8. Tricuspid Valve:
 Has normal mobility and thickness .

No tricuspid valve regurgitation .

No tricuspid valve stenosis .

Pericardium appears to be normal with no pericardial effusion
. No pleural effusion is seen .
11. Aorta:
 Aortic root is normal in size , ascending aorta is normal in size ,

aortic arch is normal in size .


12. IVC:
 IVC appears to be normal in size with normal inspiratory collapse .
13. Masses/Thrombi/vegetations:
 No masses/thrombi/vegetation visualized with current views obtained .

Conclusion:
1. The quality of the study was: good .
2. Overall left ventricle was normal in size with normal systolic function,

without regional wall motion abnormalities .


3. The left ventricular ejection fraction was estimated to be %.
