Note: All of these also grant special abilities based on HD;
12HD grants you the first boon, 16HD grants the second, and 20HD grants the third and final boon. Unless a
specific duration or number of uses per day is listed, a boon’s effects are constant.
Deific Obedience
(When the God is neither Good nor Evil, the first time you perform your obedience you must decide
whether you will receive a Sacred or Profane bonus. This decision cannot be changed.)
1: Darkfire (Sp)
burning hands 3/day, darkness 2/day, or deeper darkness 1/day
2: Embersight (Su)
Your eyes take on the appearance of red-hot, glowing embers, granting you the ability to see in darkness much like
devils. You gain darkvision to a range of 60 feet. If you chose either darkness or deeper darkness as the spell-like
ability granted by your first boon, you can also see perfectly through both darkness and deeper darkness. If you
already have darkvision to a range of 60 feet or more, instead increase the range of your darkvision by 10 feet.
Your eyes make you extremely distinctive, causing you to take a –4 penalty on Disguise checks.
1: Libations (Sp)
bless water 3/day, delay poison 2/day, or create food and water 1/day
Eritrice / Heart-Speaker
Role: NG female agathion empyreal lord of debate, opinions, and truth
Obedience: Write a truth on a scrap of parchment, roll the parchment in honey, and hold it in your mouth until the honey
dissolves.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saves against illusions.
Ghenshau / Breezes-Still-and-Ripples-Cease
Role: LG male archon empyreal lord of ignorance, placidity, and simplicity
Obedience: Bury a book or scroll that you have never read in fertile soil. Plant a seed above the buried knowledge and pray
over the site that good and growth can come from the decaying parchment.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saving throws against transmutation effects.
Immonhiel / Balm-Bringer
Role: CG angel empyreal lord of herbs, medicine, and toads
Obedience: Fill your mouth with fresh, fragrant herbs. Recline in a tub or pool of cool water with a live toad on your breast
and meditate on the teachings of Immonhiel for 1 hour, then let the toad go.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saves against disease.
Jalaijatali / Rillsong
Role: CG female azata empyreal lord of natural music, rapids, and waterfalls
Obedience: Stand under a waterfall (or pour water over your head) while singing wordlessly, letting the sound of the moving
water inspire you.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saves against the spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural abilities of creatures with the
aquatic or water subtype.
Picoperi / Merrygleam
Role: CG male azata empyreal lord of jokes, pranks, and surprises
Obedience: Play a practical joke on an unsuspecting target. If no suitable targets are nearby, write down an original joke
and leave it tucked in a place where someone may someday find it.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus to AC during surprise rounds, regardless of whether or not you participate in the surprise
round.
Tolc / Snow-Strider
Role: CG angel empyreal lord of cold, frozen wilds, and survival
Obedience: Kneel naked outdoors at night while dipping your hands in two bowls of tepid water. Slowly raise your hands
above your head and hold them there until the water from both bowls has evaporated.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saves against cold effects.
Valani / Fireshaker
Role: CG male azata empyreal lord of change, growth, and primal forces
Obedience: Build a fire and burn an item or set of items worth at least 50 gp. When the flames have died down, roll among
the cinders to extinguish the last bits of fire and grind the ashes into the ground.
Boon: Each time you perform this obedience, choose either acid, cold, electricity, or fire. Gain a +2 sacred bonus on saving
throws against the chosen energy type.
Vildeis / The Cardinal Martyr
Role: LG angel empyreal lord of devotion, sacrifice, and scars
Obedience: Cut a holy design into your flesh or the flesh of a willing participant. Rub ashes into the wound while praying
aloud to Vildeis. Bind the wound in red cloth but show the scar to anyone who asks.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saving throws against effects that damage, drain, or penalize ability scores.
Ylimancha / Harborwing
Role: NG female agathion empyreal lord of coastal waters, fisherfolk, and flying creatures
Obedience: Wrap yourself in a robe of feathers and immerse yourself in saltwater, holding your breath for as long as
possible. Climb out of the water, kneel down, and pray until the robe dries.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saving throws against effects with the water descriptor and effects from flying creatures.
Zohls / Verity
Role: LG female archon empyreal lord of determination, investigation, and truth
Obedience: Study an unfamiliar scene and then draw it as perfectly as possible from memory. Mark any inconsistencies on
the sketch and keep it in an accessible place for future reference.
Boon: Gain a +4 sacred bonus on saving throws against illusions.
Demonic Obedience
Urxehl / Trollfather
Role: CE male demon lord of natural disasters, storms, and trolls
Obedience: You must cavort naked atop a hill, rooftop, or mountaintop during a storm, or else ritualistically sever the
fingers, toes, then arms and legs of a nonevil being, burning each severed fragment to ash before moving on to the
next.
Boon: Gain a +4 profane bonus on all saving throws against weather-related effects and spells.
