    This Technical Publication describes measures to minimize E540-8002 due to breakage of the Upper
    Paper Face Sensing Flag.

    DETAILS:
    When using the finisher, E540-8002 may be indicated (Tray 1 area error).
    The Upper Paper Face Sensing Flag (FC5-4162-030) may be broken [C], triggering an E540-8002 (Fig.-1).
