CORPORATE ENTREPRENEUR
TECHNOPRENEUR
-Bill Gates
"Ultimately, the PC will be a window to everything people are interested in-and everything we need to
know."-Bill Gates
Bill Gates is the founder of Microsoft Corporation, a technology company. Gates was focusing on setting
standards, first with MS-DOS and later with Windows. It offers an array of services, including cloud-
based solutions that provide customers with software, services, platforms, and content, and it provides
solution support and consulting services. The standards he helped set shaped the modern computer
industry and will continue to influence its growth well into the next century.
ECOPRENEUR
-Adam Neiman
“There’s an intimate connection between the exploitation of humans and the exploitation of nature.” –
Adam Neiman
Adam Neiman is a CEO and co-founder of No Sweat Apparel, it sells children’s, men’s and women’s
casual clothing and outerwear that are all union-made, many from organic fabrics. He believes there is an
intrinsic, natural connection between businesses that treat their workers well and solving environmental
problems, which are rampant in the clothing industry. Neiman’s viewpoint on good stewardship of the
planet and fair treatment of people is hardly a new idea.
SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR
Shiza Shahid
“Try things. Don’t wait. Being an entrepreneur is a mindset; asking questions, seeking answers,
solving problems. The earlier you start, the more engrained it becomes.” - Shiza Shahid
She is a co-founder and global ambassador of Malala fund, it advocates for female education at
the international and national policy level, negotiating with government leaders, and amplifying
the voices of young women around the world. Promoting gender equality is the reason why I
considered Shiza Shadid as a social entrepreneur. She created malala fund to support and protect one of
the social issues and that is to empower women.
