3. Make any kind of magnifying glass for viewing distances, small objects, or starting
fires.
4. When in naval combat, have water moves up to 5 feet into/onto the opposing ship.
5. Create a "statue" of ice, then animate it to act as your personal guard or servant.
6. If you're a Water Genasi, you can change the colour of the water that's on your skin
and hair, giving you many more fashion choices, including this season's favourite
"soaked in blood" look.

 You can fill or empty a container quickly (said "container" might be your sinking boat,
for example).
 You can move water without any chance of touching it, this can be useful if the water
might be poisoned, or is just really gross, like in a sewer.
 In a pinch you can use ice as a platform to stand.

 Make dirty water temporarily clear, this can be useful for searching this is mostly
useful in places with shallow water, like sewers or swamps.
 With downtime and access to water, you can form short lasting structures from ice,
like a wall for cover or a bridge.

Important: Don't forget that you can have up to two non-instantaneous effects active at a time,
and can end one as an action.
 While someone is drinking water make the water splash in their face, use it as a
distraction at a party or to unnerve someone. Make it look like someone threw water in
someone else's face!
 Animate water down a hallway to check for floor traps. Run water over walls find
gaps and maybe secret doors.
 Shape and animate water while giving a fake fortune reading to seem legit, or use it
to make it appear like a divine being is sending a message.
 Make ripples in some water to make people think something is under the surface or
that a big creature is coming.
 Slowly drain a small pond by moving the water somewhere else.
 Help farmers irrigate their land by manipulating some water. Use a Decanter of
Endless Water or Alchemy Jug for a nice water supply.
 Animate water to make a fake Water Weird, Water Elemental, or Slithering Tracker.
 Animate water and change its color to make it look like an Ooze or Green Slime.
 Change water to be completely opaque during a stealth mission and hide under it.
 Change the color or opacity of a vial of water to make people think you're performing
an alchemical miracle or have a rare chemical substance.
 Trick an assassin into thinking they've got a vial of poison when it's really just water.
 Make somebody think they're cursed by turning all their water into strange colors.
 Create a fake crime scene by turning a bathtub full of water into blood-like water.
Bonus points if you have someone sit in it. Extra bonus points if you combine it with
Feign Death. Double extra bonus points if you add Alter Self to the mix.
 Make someone think you've just killed a person by covering parts of yourself with
water and then making it look like blood.
 Use colored water as signals to other party members. Red means danger, deep blue
means magic, green means be stealthy, etc.
 In the desert turn water into ice-cubes to slow/prevent evaporation, have handle little
treats, or ice packs to fight heat stroke.
 Create ice-cubes that can be thrown for distractions.
 Make ice shivs/daggers and use them for a murder. The murder weapon will dispose
of itself. Alternatively, use it when deprived of weapons to make new ones! If you ever
get thrown in jail, use the water rations to make ice weapons! Make ice arrows when you
run out!
 Use water as a time telling device by freezing it and then waiting for it to melt. Use it
when you're underground to still know when an hour has passed, or use it to track the
duration of a spell.
 Freeze water and use it as a time-gated signal. Give someone an ice coin or vial
filled with ice."Here, take this. When this melts, meet in the alley behind the inn" or "If I'm not
back by the time this melts, come find me.", or "Once the ice has melted, begin the assault."
 Freeze a section of an enemy's Wall of Water spell.
 Stop a trapped room from flooding by freezing water as it comes out of the spout or
slow the process by redirecting it.
 Burst pipes by freezing water as it leaves the tube creating a stoppage and
increasing the internal water pressure until the pipes burst.
 Prevent an aquatic creature from escaping into a 5ft pool by freezing the water.
 Seal a hidden passage behind a waterfall by freezing the water, or check for
passages by parting the water.
 Create temporary barricades or block hallways by freezing a giant block of ice in the
middle of them. Block off hallways or create temporary ice cover!
 Turn a puddle to ice during a chase to slow/trip pursuers/targets or use it to create
difficult terrain in a battle.
 Slowly break through a stone wall or destroy a foundation by forcing water into
cracks, freezing it, and then repeating the process.
 Temporarily mend objects by connecting the broken pieces with water and then
freezing it. Your ax's haft got broken? Make a temporary ice handle!
 Create an ice key or temporary tools by making molds, pouring water into them, and
then freezing it. Maybe a wizard or spymaster has a door or tower they keep locked and
they use this method to make the key. Nobody can figure out where the key is or how
steal it because it gets made fresh every time!
 Turn regular pitfall traps into spiked pitfall traps by pouring water in the pitfall,
shaping it to spikes and freezing it!
 Create ice stairs and bridges using nearby water or water from a Decanter of
Endless Water or Alchemy Jug. Shape water into makeshift stairs and freeze it! Direct
water over a gap and freeze it midair! Pour water over a different liquid, wait for it to
settle on top and then freeze it for a platform.
 Make frisbees! (I'm running out of ideas.)
 Make ice toys for children, or containers by shaping water and freezing it! Make ice
tankards, bowls, and barrels.
 Freeze an enemy's dropped or obtained weapon in water. Like, make an enemy
drop their weapon in a puddle and freeze it. Capture an enemy and freeze their
weapons to make sure they can't use them for an hour, use it right before you let them
go to prevent retaliation.
 Tie someone up and then freeze water around the knot to prevent them from
escaping!
 Make objects more prone to breaking by freezing them in water first.
 Preserve foodstuffs by coating them in water and freezing it.
 Cross moats by freezing the water.
 Slow down a small boat by freezing the water in front it.
 Create an ice toboggan for quick travel or ice boots for skating.
 Collect and preserve water without a waterskin by animating it into containers or
freezing it.
 Make ice caltrops or ball bearings out of water droplets!
 Freeze water in a trap mechanism to prevent it from activating.
