Green Fencing Support

Introduction:

The design calculations is prepared for the Support for Green Fencing. The structure consist of
6m high G.I Pipe.

Loadings and Combinations :

Dead Load :
Dead load consist of Self weight of Structure, Self weight of Green Fencing.
Unfactored load of 0.001kpa (100g/m2) is applied as dead load to the Structure.

Wind Load :
Wind load of 0.65kpa is applied based on MS 1553. 40% reduction in load is considered due to
opening in the Green netting. (0.65*0.6 = 0.39kN/m2)

Combinations :

At Ultimate State, Load Factors are 1.4 Dead and 1.4 Wind
At Service State, Load factors are 1.0 Dead and 1.0 Wind

Analysis and Design carried out in Staad pro in accordance with BS5950 :2000.
Staad pro results are attached in the appendix.
