Brief Narrative Description of Project:

Detail Feasibility Study, detail technical design, and prepare Bid Document as per PPA/PPR guideline preparation for
implementation of Solar Street Lighting System in various selected Metropolitans, Sub-Metropolitans, Municipalities
and VDC’s of Nepal. Site visit, co-ordination with the related person/user group of the respected place, Design layout
plan and assess to the technical and financial feasibility study of street lighting system
Description of actual services provided by your organization:

1. Interact with AEPC, selected metropolitan, sub metropolitan, municipalities and VDC’s, local/user group for
better understanding of the task.
2. Conduct site visit of the selected sites.
3. Review available notional codes and specification for street lighting, LED lights and PV specification
4. Prepare detail feasibility report containing conceptual design for solar street lighting system to enable listed
companies to tender for implementation of the project. The design is taken into consideration dust, storms,
isolated installations, difficulty in maintenance, high temperature and tough operation conditions etc.
5. Prepare BoQ and cost estimation for the system and Prepare technical components of the bidding documents
including assessment criteria for bidders.
6. Analyze the financial/technical aspect, feasibility, cost effectiveness, No. of beneficiary’s and propose suitable
business plan for multi-use of solar streetlight system.
7. Prepare repair and maintenance plan and schedule.
