Transport Service is an optional facility offered to the students.


For students who are currently availing School Transport facility and wish to continue for
the next academic year, parents must submit the form duly filled in before the end of the
current academic year, i.e. on or before April 5, 2019.

Nodal pick up and drop points and exact routes of the buses will be decided based on
majority of users and keeping in mind the running time that suits all students by and
large and in the interest of all concerned.

Door to door pick up or drop by school buses is not available. Day Care drop facility is
not available. Requests from parents for deviations from authorized routes or timings
to suit their convenience shall not be entertained.

Terms and conditions (T&C)
1. Parents who would like to avail the school transport facility should register at the school
office. The feasibility of providing the service will be examined and decided by the school.
Mere registration will not be binding on us to provide the facility.
2. Parents/guardians are requested to ensure that their ward is punctual, arriving at the
pickup point 10 minutes earlier to the arrival of school bus. If there is delay on their part, it
is the responsibility of the parents to take their child to the school without holding the
driver or any other member of the crew responsible.
3. Students will be handed over only to parents/guardians holding authorized id proof by the
school. In their absence at the dropping point; the child will be brought back to school.
Parents will have to pick them up from school themselves on such occasions.
4. Any change of address, pickup/drop points, contact details and request for discontinuation
of transport facility should be submitted to transport department in writing at least 30 days
in advance.
5. Students who use the School Transport System are hereby instructed to abide by the
school’s code of conduct and discipline. Using foul language, bullying, throwing articles out
of the bus etc. are construed as acts of indiscipline. If found offensive, such students will
lose the privilege of the School Transport facility and will have to make their own transport
arrangements.
6. If any change in the regular routes are inevitable due to unforeseen circumstances (Eg.
Digging of roads, U turn, Left turn, No entry, or any other deviation) the same will be
informed through the Coolg/Neotrack (GPS). Parents need to take note of the same and act
accordingly.
7. For complaints suggestions and feed-back on the bus facility please contact the school
transport coordinator on 8197799937 or email - transport@gcis.edu.in. Direct contact with
the bus attendant maid or drivers may not solve the issue.
8. The transport charges are to be paid in 2 installments i.e., before the start of each term.
Students will be allowed to use the service only on payment of the prescribed transport fee.
Payment can also be made in a single installment for both the Terms. Payment is to be done
only through Payment Gateway by logging in to the Coolg.
9. The bus attendant maids are not permitted to get down from buses while on stops to help
the children crossing the road for any reason whatsoever. It is the responsibility of the
parents/guardians to take care of the children at the time of drop.

The above guidelines, T&C pertaining to Transport Service have been read and understood
and will be complied with.
