FACEBOOK GROUP CHECKLIST

1. Make sure you have a business page and a group page.

2. Link both pages to one another.
3. Include a link to both pages in your FB “intro” section.
4. Include pictures in your intro that reflect you professionally.
5. Add 5 tags to your FB group, such as “healthcare,” “mental health,” “Hypnosis, “ etc.
6. Go to FB Ads Manager.
7. Create an ad campaign with the goal of ENGAGEMENT → PAGE LIKES.
8. Set the parameters for your ad. Use all your research from Week 1 to determine these
parameters.
9. Follow the directions in Week 2. It is spelled out exactly how to do this.
10. Create occasional posts on your business page and personal page that mention your FB
group page; include a link.
11. Post to your group and all social media avenues (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) at least
1x/day. Combine these types of posts: Authority + Know/Like/Trust + Engagement. You
may want to consider hiring a VA for this, of which I can help you find someone easily, or
consider the free plan on Hootsuite or another posting platform.
12. Reach out individually to each of your LinkedIn connections with an invite to your group.
You can automate this process using a service such as Dux-Soup, if preferred.
13. Join other similar groups on Facebook. Provide value in at least 3 to 5 posts before
mentioning yourself or your group. Look to the group rules first to make sure this is
allowed, or to determine if there are certain days allotted to cross-promotion.
14. Encourage members to promote your group.
15. Run competitions (with prizes) for each milestone your group reaches. Example: Grow
This Group Challenge! Leave a comment on this post and tag all the people you get to
join! The person who invited the most people will win a $100 Amazon gift card!
16. Welcome each new member in the group and tag them.
17. Send each member a private message inviting them to introduce themselves to the
group.
18. Pin a post at the top of your group that invites everyone to introduce themselves. Provide
them with 2-3 questions that you want them to answer. Make them easy, short
questions.
19. Create events in your group where you will go live. This will trigger a notice/invite to
everyone in your group.
20. Encourage influencers to join your group.
