VADODARA CRICKET PREMIER

LEAGUE

 TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS:

 Management will provide each team with a list of all their


respective team players and the teams will have to follow
the list throughout the league.

 Management will provide each player with their


respective photo ID cards, which they have to strictly
carry with them on the day of their match and any player
found not carrying the photo ID card will strictly not be
allowed to play the match on that day and no excuses will
be entertained for this purpose.

 On the day of the match, all the players from both the
teams have to compulsorily report to the ground before
half an hour of the commencement (starting) of the match.
And if the playing 11 players from any one of the team
aren’t found present before 15 minutes of the
commencement of the match then the opposite team will
be granted with 2 points, and no excuse will be
entertained for the unavailability of the player before 15
minutes. FOR EXAMPLE: If the commencement time of the
match is 7:00 pm, then all the 15 players of both the teams
have to report at 6:30 pm and if any of the playing 11
players of the match from any team haven’t reached by
6:45 pm then the above rule will apply.

 Each match will be played on a T-10 basis.


 From each team only two bowlers are allowed to bowl for
maximum 3 overs.

 Throughout the tournament if the umpire or referee finds


that any bowler from any team is chucking (throw ball) ,
then the bowler will be given a first an a last warning and
the ball with considered as a “NO BALL” with a “FREE
HIT”. Even after receiving a warning, if the bowler chucks
the ball for the second time then he will be, on the spot
suspended from bowling for the entire tournament and
the ball will be considered as a dead ball. In such a case ,
the remaining over will be completed by another bowler
from that team.

 Throughout the tournament, the umpire’s and the


referee’s decision will be considered as a “FINAL
DECISION”. If the team has any issue with the umpire’s or
the referee’s decision then in such a case, only the team
captain will approach the umpire or the referee.

 Each innings of the match should get over within 45mins.

 If any player from any team is found misbehaving with the


management or the umpire or the referee then the player
will be banned from playing the next 2 matches.

 It is the responsibility of the team captain to give the list of


the playing 11 players of their team before every match.

 The winning team in every match will be awarded with 2


points.

 If there is “TIE”, then a super over will be played.
