PROJECT 1: SPLUNK TIMELINESS

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Developed a tool for product owners involved in the Grievances & Appeals business of the enterprise.
The main objective of the tool is to help teams manage cases in their inventory
in intervals so the cases can meet their due date. We are trying to eliminate paper
reporting and shifting from using the Customer Care Portal (CCP).

Responsibilities:

• Potential tasks associated with the design of the product consists of updating saved
searches, creating new saved searches, editing dashboard source codes, and
enhancing the speed in which our dashboards load.
• Developed Splunk queries and dashboards targeted at understanding
application performance and capacity analysis.
• Worked on multiple Splunk SPL functions to create new fields during search.
• Creating drill downs to view the specific values from the buckets.
• As part of requirement, We used data visualization techniques to view the
results statistically and graphically.

PROJECT 2: SPLUNK DATA ADMINISTRATOR

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
I have been working on service now tool where we used to get incidents and change requests,
with this change and incidents the end users raise their problems what they are facing while
using splunk .

Responsibilities:
• Maintain all components of a distrubuted SPLUNK infrastructure including indexer
 clusters, search head clusters, and deployment servers.
• Standardize SPLUNK forwarder deployment, configuration, and maintenance across Linux
platform.
• System management for clustering, deployment, licensing, and other server functions.
• Monitor the SPLUNK infrastructure for capacity planning, system health, availability,
and optimization.
• I have worked on all different parameters in splunk like trouble shoot disk
spaces , memory and CPU issues, trouble shoot search head cluster and
indexer cluster, troubleshoot splunk dashboard loading issues.
• Troubleshooted users roles and index configurations.creating new roles ,
new indexes. Define the data sizes.
• Pushing apps to development to prod, worked on bitbucket.
• Troubleshoot indexer problems , worked on skipped searches .

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Splunk App for PCI Compliance (for Splunk Enterprise) is a Splunk developed and
supported App designed to help organizations meet requirements. It reviews and measures the
effectiveness and status of PCI compliance technical controls in real time. It can also
identify and prioritize any control areas that may need to be addressed and let you quickly
address any auditor report or data request.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of existing Monitoring and Event Management
implementations.
• Maintain overall health and stability of existing platforms by ensuring root cause
analysis and non-repeat of critical issues.
• Provide best practices in the Monitoring, Event Management and IT Analytics areas.
• Provide guidance on-boarding new teams on to the platforms and engineer custom
solutions for non-standard requirements.
• Review and improve procedures and documentation to increase the maturity of the
monitoring and event management service.
• Monitoring the log files and validate the authorized user /un authorized user based on the
event codes.
