Personal pronouns and possessives

Ibero
Goal

To recognize and use the personal pronouns and possessive pronouns

in order to talk about myself and others.
Personal pronouns
• Personal Pronouns: We use personal
pronouns (I, me, he, him, etc.) to replace
names or nouns when it is clear what they
refer to.
Possessive adjectives
• Possessive adjectives: Possessive adjectives
are used to show possession or ownership of
something. While we use them when we
refer to people, it is more in the sense of
relationship than ownership.
Object pronouns
Possessive pronouns

• Possessive Pronouns: We use possessives

(my, your, her) when it is not necessary to
name the person the thing belongs to.
