I, the affiant, have good reason and do believe that on or about the Ath day of July, 20 20, one (name of suspect) Aubrey Quenard Jernigan did then and there in the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas commit the offense of Murder, a violation of Section 19,02 of the Texas Penal Code, a K/1. ‘Affiant’s belief is based upon the following facts and information which Affiant received from: Dd Affiant’s personal investigation of this alleged offense Oo a fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, who personally participated in the investigalion of this alleged offense, providing this information to Affiant, and whose information Affiant believes 0 be credible. On July 4, 2020, at about 10:08 p.., suspect Aubrey Quenard Jemigan committed the offense of Murder, ‘Texas Penal Code 19.02, First Degree Felony, against complainant Antron Dewayne Edmundson. This offense occurred at 1228 Reverend CBT Smith Street Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. The facts of the offense are as follows: On July 4, 2020, at about 9:09 p:m., complainant Antron Dewayne Edmundson arrived at 1228 Reverend CBT Smith Street, a recreation center and park area in Dallas. Complainant Edmundson walked over to the park area where several people were gathered to celebrate the holiday. According toa witness, who is known but will not be named at this time for their safety, complainant Edmundson got into a verbal altercation with suspect Aubrey Quenard Jemigan (also known as "Joc"). According to witness, the argument was over 2 debt-in-which complainant Edmundson owed money to suspect Jernigan but was refusing to pay him back. ‘According to witness, ooriipfainant Edmiundsbi’stated that he wax going to kill everyone there and:-begen -cuatvalling back-towards his.vchiele, which was parked atthe recreation center. Suspect Jernigan and several other individuals began following complainant Edmundson back to his vehicle. As complainant Edmundson was walking back towards his vehicle, suspect Jemigan produced a pistol and shot complainant Edmundson. multiple times in the parking lot. Complainant Edmundson was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died. Nearby surveillance video captured the shooting in the parking lot. Detective Isom #9272 received multiple tips as to the name of the shooter, and that the altercation was from an ongoing dispute over a debt, however the persons who provided the tips were not witnesses to the crime. Witness confirmed that they were present at the time of the offense, and the information provided can be corroborated by the surveillance video evidence. Witness further stated that they know suspect by name and sight. Witness was shown a single photo and confirmed this person to be suspect Aubrey Jernigan (aka Joe"), as the person who shot complainant Edmundson in the parking lot, causing his death,STATE OF TEXAS AFEIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT.
