Objective of the course in the programme:
This course exposes the students to the basic principles of intellectual property law in Malaysia. The intellectual property rights (IPR) focused on are copyright, patent, industrial design,
breach of confidence, trademark, geographical indications and passing off. Students will learn the rights and powers and protection granted to IPR owners and related dealings with IPR

This is a core course in our Bachelor of Laws (Honours) programme. Law students are expected to have basic understanding of the concepts relating to intellectual property law
