Clean and Treat with Specialty Surfactants and
Surface Modifiers
Our line of specialty surfactants includes amphoteric, anionic, cationic, non-ionic surfactants and surface modifiers.
Degreasing, low foaming, easy to rinse and gentle to the surface and skin are some of the unique properties that can be
achieved using these surfactants.

Amphoterics
These surfactants have a positive or negative charge depending on pH. The Evonik line consists of betaines,
amphodiacetates and amphopropionates. Generally they are low foaming, mild to the skin and readily biodegradable.
Because they are mild to the skin, they find use in manual cleaners and care agents.

Anionics
Anionic surfactants are the most widely used surfactant category. They are particularly effective at removing oily soil and
suspending clay soil. Our line of anionic surfactants consists primarily of sulfosuccinates. These products are effective in
neutral pH ranges, are mild to the skin, and are compatible with anionic, amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants. Typical
applications for these products include: anionic surfactants for mild formulations, wipes, glass cleaners, manual car
washes, wash and wax products, all purpose cleaners, high pressure cleaners, carpet and upholstery cleaners, etc.
