professional writing
b. Identify the unique features and requirements in composing
professional correspondents
c. Compose the different professional correspondence learned
following the rules in writing letters
d. Critique a correspondence based on the principles learned.

 Let the learner proceed to the illustraytion on page 148.


 Let them make realization based from the previous activity.
 Let them further realize that there may be some pats of
letters which are optional.
B. Development  Let the learner explore the folwing:
1. Basic and optional parts of professional correspondence
2. Format and punctuation style
3. Resume
4. Application for college admission
5. Application for enrolment
 The learner will analyze the sample for each type of
professional correspondence
 Let him/ her characterize the unique feature of each
professional correspondence.
 Learner too can find available professional correspondence
to see if the features are observed.
6. Engagement  Learner will do/ perform activities indicated in the module.
These include the all the Hone Your Skills portion of the
LM.
 Learner should make the following:
1. One sample letter addressed to Brgy. Chairman,
suggesting to resolve solid waste management issue in
the community. This sample letter should also be written
in different formats presented in the lesson.
2. Let also the learner prepare an application letter, in any
format, and attach it with a comprehensive resume.
Supposing that there is a job vacancy in the LGU and he/
she would want to apply. Otherwise, an application for a
summer job can also be considered.

7. Assimilation  Based from the given lesson, let the learner answer the
following question:
1. Learner will answer a prepared test focusing on the unique
features of professional correspondence presented in the
lesson.
