China and India historically share common values based on the oriental philosophy, way of life, ancient
trade and cultural interactions, grass root economy as well as a strong entrepreneurial spirit, all of
which support the bilateral Strategic Partnership.
The total bilateral trade between India and China for 2011-12, stood
at $75,457.42 million as compared with $59,000.36 million in 2010-
11.
Both the Governments have agreed to take steps to ensure that the
bilateral trade between the two emerging economies reaches $100
billion by 2015.
ASSOCHAM along with Chamber of Chinese Enterprise in India
and Chindia Chamber of Commerce and Industry through this
INDIA-CHINA GOLF CUP seek to further leverage the synergies
between these two economic powerhouses by creating a platform for
decision makers from both the countries to interact and share their
ideas while mixing business with leisure.
The 1st India China Golf Cup 2011 was unveiled by the Ambassador
People's Republic of China in India Mr. Zhang Yang and Mr.
Ranjan Mathai, Secretary
Ministry of External Affairs,
Govt. of India. Present on the occasion were H.E. Mr. Philippe Welti,
