- In my observation in the video, the school is very important to every students. Because this is
place where the students can learn anything. The school provides the learnings of the students.
They teach them, discover their talents and many more. This is where they can make socialize to
each other. The Christian school have many benefits. They can help the students about their
moral, religion, beliefs, etc. They ensure the every students to be prepared mental, physical,
emotional, and spiritual. The Christian school also teach about God’s creation and life and Jesus
Christ’s life. They want the students to know about God and Jesus Christ.

Activity no. 11: Readings of the pdf file: Journal of Adventist Education and answer the following
questions:

 What are the primary aim of Adventist educator as an agent of redemption (see pp. 31ff.)
- Adventist teachers are God’s agents in plan of redemption and reconciliation. Like Christ, their
primary function is to seek and to save that which was lost.
- The primary function of Christian educators is to relate to the Master Teacher in such a way that
he or she becomes God’s agent in the redemptive plan.
- Christian education is the only education that can meet humanity’s deepest needs, because only
Christian educators understand the core of human problem.

 What are some secondary aims of Adventist education, ( p. 32ff)


- Character development is certainly a major goal of Adventist education.
- The foundational aim in Christian education is the bringing of the individual to Christ for
salvation.
- The primary objective of Christian education is to bring students into relationship with Christ
with such theological concepts as conversion, new birth and justification, it follows that
character devolvement, as a secondary aim must be synonymous with sanctification and
Christian growth in grace.

 Give several qualifications of Adventist educator


- Those who minister in Christian education must have in themselves the life of Christ and be
possessed by the Spirit of God.
- He alone has life who is connected with the Source of life, and only such can be a channel of life.
- In order that the may accomplish the object if his works, he should be a living embodiment of
truth, a living channel through which wisdom and life may flow. A pure life, the result of sound
principles and right habits, should therefore be regarded as his most essential qualification.
- Qualification no. 1 for Adventist teachers is they have personal saving relationship with Jesus.
- Qualification no. 2 relates to their mental capabilities and development.
- Qualification no. 3 area of developmental underlying is social.

school – The Adventist school helps the students to grow their faith in God. They give every student to
choose the right pathway in their life. They want to them to get closer their relationship with God. They
teach them how to pray, to understand the bible and to serve God. They also train them how to be
independent.

are better than public schools. Because the students train their values and morals in life. They change
the life of the students. They want them to know more about God and Jesus Christ. They want to guide
and support their students.

Adventist Education.

- Why non-Adventist teachers are not allowed to teach in our Adventist school?
- Why Christian private schools are very expensive?
- What is the importance of understanding the policy and philosophy of Adventist education?
