Course Policies and Guidelines

Laboratory Rules:
1. Take extra care of all laboratory equipments such as drawing boards, drawing tables, cutting mats etc.
2. Use cutting mats when cutting boards and working with projects.
3. Use drawing boards properly and avoid writing unnecessary marks and vandals on the boards. Return boards
properly after use.
4. Throw trash on the garbage bins.
5. Avoid vandalism on walls, tables, chairs and boards.
6. FOOD and DRINKS are not allowed inside the laboratory during class hours. Specific break time will be
advised to each of the class.
7. Leave working place in proper order after use and before leaving the class.
8. No one is allowed to enter the room except for students enrolled in the class. (Or as approved by faculty)

Class Rules:
1. Lecture and laboratory will start promptly 10-15 minutes from the required time to give students time to
prepare for their materials.
2. Attendance will be checked accordingly. Late students will be mark late and consider present up to three
times only and be mark absent on the fourth time.
Absences:
Article XXI, Section 101 of the Manual of Regulations for Private Higher Education of 2008 states that “ A
student who incurs absences of more than twenty (20%) percent of the prescribed number of class or laboratory
periods during the school year or term shall fail and earn no credit for the course or subject except in the
instances as follows:
1) When the institution adopts a different attendance policy for students who belong to the upper half of
their classes; and
2) When the institution exempts a student for a just and reasonable ground, provided however that, the
student is not excused from keeping-up with lessons, assignments and examinations. A faculty member
may exempt a student who incurs absences beyond the twenty per cent (20%) limit, but with the
approval of proper school authority.”
3. Follow standard procedures and requirements for all laboratory activities.
4. GAME GADGETS or anything that may cause unnecessary behavior is not allowed inside the laboratory
during class hours.
5. Turn mobile phones in silent mode while inside the classroom.
6. All final requirements such as portfolio shall be collected and submitted on time.
7. Others may be made verbally as required.
